We loved our stay here, the hosts were so nice and very hospitable. Jenn offered to make us muffins in the morning, we felt like we were right at home. There were lots of great movies on dvd and the kitchen was well equipped. 10/10 would recommend especially if you’re on your way to Tahoe and I-80 is closed in the winter. 🙂

You will know this place is special the moment you drive up. Jenn and Jodi are so welcoming and treat you like part of the family. Not to mention Dot, the fully enthusiastic four-legged greeter. The place itself is gorgeous with historical charm, thoughtful decor, and special touches like in-room fireplaces, crystal accents, thick fuzzy towels and yummy smelling bath products. My room even had a heated mattress pad which was sheer bliss on cool nights. Then there are the views, the property is surrounded on all sides by pines sending out their lovely fragrance in the sun. There is also a pool out front and a lake just down the road with boat rentals, which I'm sure is incredible in the Summer months. The location is perfectly situated in the Sierras just minutes from pretty much any outdoor adventure you can imagine. What really takes it to another level are the delicious family meals, porch socials, art nights and being immersed in the overall warm positive vibe that Jenn and Jodi have created. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for an experience and not just a place to stay!

To use a word like hospitality to describe (Crystal Springs Inn) would be an understatement. But words like family, warmth and kindness in one of the most siren tucked away paradises are the exact terms suited for this place and the staff. So please stop in and get served a big gaint scoop of attention, love and total tranquility just off hwy 80 conveniently between Sacramento and Reno. For 1 of the most relaxing and unforgettable bed and breakfast and much more. Thanks again can't wait to return.

Highly recommended! Was treated like a king by Jenn and Jodie. Beautiful old house with modern updates. And they have this awesome heater on the porch. You can sit on the porch in 30 degrees and comfortable.

A magical place just an hour from Sacramento. Jenn & Jodi make you feel right at home and the house helps you remember the joy of the present moment and enjoying all that is around you.
