Treeless, service-less, non-amenity facility. Forget any hope of late arrival support. Crazy rules. The store was a cooler full of beer. The dozen or so cpers that were there were nice. Place looks good on paper/web...

We loved staying here. Jean, Kate & John were all very helpful & kind. The owner Ben is really awesome too. He's truly made a fun camping experience for people of all ages. Very nice campground & kept up well. If we ever find ourselves back in this area we will definitely stay here again.

There’s a grate full hook up RV campground I really really think this place excels if you have a family and kids and you want to leverage the waterpark lake and the go karts. I would say that my only criticism would be the lack of shade if the sun is bright it’s a hot day. It gets pretty brutal with no trees around. there is a main building which you can meet and play cards hang out and there’s video games. There’s even slots. They sell drinks in there. Air conditioning heated so it’s a nice reprieve again if you have kids, this is more of an ideal spot for them.

We've been coming to Crystal Lake RV Park for years. Loved every visit. Beach, Fishing, Go Karts, Nature, Dodge Ball, new Playground. Plenty to do if you want to stay busy, but super relaxing if that's what you're looking for. Camp bathrooms are clean, well lite with what feels like soften water. Will definitely be back.

What a trashy place including the staff!! If I could give negative stars I would!! We had to cut our camping trip short we could not wait to get out of there. I mean when a 13, 11, and 9 year old are asking to leave the campground , you know something is wrong with the place. Power kept going out and for some reason our water stopped working. I made the female staff member aware of it and she argued with me and said she "doesn't understand why we are having so many problems". What a joke!! They have bathrooms to use BUT they keep them locked because people have been vandalizing them. I mean it's ridiculous that you have to go ask someone to unlock the bathrooms every time you need to use it. Then they close at 10:00 and you have no access to public bathroom or showers.
The female staff member threatened me also with bodily harm. Of course I asked for a partial refund and that was quickly denied...
Please dont waste your time gross campground and rude staff.
Definitely calling the BBB on this place.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. It is in a quiet location and has great facilities. The reason for the three starts is the staffing. The staff is not friendly and often gives attitude or rude remarks. While we were there they accused children (under the age of 10) of breaking into the playground because it had a lock on it. When the kids (without parents present) told the employee it was open she said they were wrong and they had cameras and would check the surveillance. The employee should have spoken with the parents. Other comments by staff were made during check-in and while using the facilities. If the staff's attitude would improve this would be a great place and my review would be higher!

At $60.00 per night it’s overrated. The full hook ups were great. But the campground had only a few trees and so the a/c ran all day. The gravel roads were rough You had to pay extra to use crystal lake and frankly you have to pay me to go in the water. It was skumy an had lots of algae. We were there on a weekend in June and it was only about a quarter filled. I quest other people new better. We stayed there because of the location to things we wanted to do in the area. It was functional for that reason but I feel that Good Sam has over rated this campground.

Owner is very nice, staff are super helpful and friendly.

Only downsides were some connectivity issues but it seems he's actively working on those and there isn't a lot of trees (yet). They're planted and it will just take time

Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
