I have been in many hotel rooms all around the world & this was the absolute worst. The shabby room smelled of smoke, it received only surface cleaning, and flies were buzzing around. There was no phone, alarm clock or hairdryer. There was a TV and cable box, but all I got was snow no matter what I tried to do to make it work. I ended up changing my clothes for my event and took my luggage with me. I left my event early enough to drive home afterward. I will never "stay" there again. It's too bad because the owners seemed nice...

First Impression of the motel wasn't that good. There was a car that had flat tires. Had a hard time getting in contact with somebody to check me in because the phone in the office was dead. Room that I finally got was better than I had expected. No real complaints about the furniture. Electric baseboard heat for the room warm. Older style television. Room was too far away from office to get a wifi signal. Only real complaint was with the towels in the bathroom. They were really worn out and ragged looking. Hardees across the street.

0/5 stars. This place was absolutely disgusting from the moment we pulled up on the property. Floors were filthy with dead bugs on the floor and tons of stains as well as stains and dirt all over the bedsheets (clearly not washed). No toilet paper. Workers were very sketchy. I could go on and on. Previous reviews do not adequately describe how nasty this place is. I didn't even want my DOG sleeping on their floors.

Heating in the room wasn’t good. Shower had bugs in it and was rusted to the point I had to wear shoes and touch nothing in the shower. Sheets aren’t washed and comforter was covered in stains and blood. There was duct tape across the floor because it was poorly constructed. Very thin walls

Was in town for a funeral. Called and made reservation without seeing. There was no answer at the other motel in town. We assumed the other was full. After paying (receipt states on bottom, No refunds! ) we hoped the room looked better than the outside. Not! We had gotten 2 rooms, both horrible! Dirty, smelled very bad, stains in carpet, and one room the tv would not shut off and the lamp had spliced wires with duck tape around them. After seeing that I looked for a smoke detector and was unable to find one. We went to the other motel and stayed there!

Stayed for couple months. She did her best to make sure we were happy. Rates were ok wouldn’t of had a place to live without her so I thank her for that. Clean beds and sheets and offered weekly to service. Would definitely stay again when in rushville 😁 accepts pets so definitely a plus. Only reason I’m updating is because I left keys when I went back to get my tile mate was off of them and now it says it’s in Rushville where I no longer live. Not sure about why that would happen.

Was in town for a class reunion & booked this room just a day or so before. We got there late to check in & it looked sketchy. When you go to the "lobby", it smells old & musty, but I'm thinking maybe it's just the lobby. There is a sign over a phone that says you have to ring them to check in. (They live next door) The man who came to check me in didn't have my name on the list. I told him my name several times & he kept saying he had one for Cindy, but not my name. Then his wife came out & they discussed this as if I wasn't standing right there. I finally told them that I was Cindy & they gave us our room. It was my room, I'm sure, they just wrote the name down wrong.||||We went to our room & I couldn't believe I was going to have to sleep there, but I knew I would probably have had enough cocktails that I wouldn't care. It was a small room with 2 beds, poorly placed. Smoke permeated the room. I don't know if there was someone next door smoking or not. I think it just smelled that way. The bedding looked old & I kept thinking if I looked under the bed there would be a body. The bathroom was very small & outdated, but there was an actual toilet. There was also a single shower, but there was one of those things you put on the floor so you don't slip, but it had these bristles on it, I guess so you could scrub your feet. It was all yellowed. I would never let my feet touch that nasty thing.||||We dropped our bags there, even though I thought they wouldn't be there when we got back & went to our reunion. I made sure I had plenty of cocktails so that I could sleep comfortably. We got back to our room really late & it smelled worse than the bar we just came from. When I woke up, well, I was just glad I woke up....I peeked out the back curtain & lo & behold the sun was out & there was a beautifully landscaped yard in view. It gave me hope. For a minute I thought I was going to be involved in some murder for hire plot or I was going to become a crack addict just from being there.||||I would never recommend this place & I will never go back. Anytime we are on a trip & we stay somewhere I insist that it be nice. And if it's not as nice as I would like, I remind myself how it could be as bad as The Crossroads. You get what you pay for.

If you just need a good nights rest in a clean room, this motel is enough. Cable TV, microwave, soap, shampoo, and a bottle of water are included. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. There is Wi-Fi, but the signal was too weak in the room to do anything.
