One of my favorite concert venues in the valley, it's smaller than most venues but is still spacious even when sold out. There are multiple AC units along with fans so the room is very comfortable even when sold out. The bar has good options and pricing is reasonable. Also the front is a restaurant with really good Mexican food for before the show, or during the show if you want. The kitchen is behind the concert hall so you'll see trays of food going across the room, but it doesn't obstruct the show at all. And no matter where in the room you are, you have a great view of the stage. The merch area is nicely off to the side, so it's easy to access without fighting your way through the crowd. Overall, a great venue!

I had never been here before. I didn’t have any beverages or anything to eat at the restaurant. I just watched a storytelling event. The staff were pretty nice. It’s hard to find parking that’s cheap.

Got tickets to the Fozzy show, so we decided to check it out.
Cool little place with a bar up front and a small food menu. We hadn't eaten, so we decided to try the Mini Chimmys. They were pretty good!
In the back is where the show is. This is a small place that holds maybe 500 people, maybe less. There was a pretty good crowd for the show, too. In there, there was another bar towards the back also.
We saw Fozzy and Lilac that night, and both were good performances.

Check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

Fishbone at Crescent Ballroom was an unforgettable experience! Let’s start with the essentials: the margarita. It leaned a bit too tart for my taste—like they were auditioning for a sour candy contest. But where they missed on the drink, they completely crushed it with the food. I went for the barbacoa bowl, and wow, it was a masterpiece! The meat was perfectly tender, falling apart like it knew its destiny was to make my taste buds dance. Just one bite, though, and I stumbled upon the guajillo pepper—a fiery reminder that spice is not to be underestimated. Let's just say, that bite packed a punch!

The servers were absolute pros, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Now, the real magic was in the music. The venue’s intimate setup—a cozy rectangular room—meant we were just 20 feet from Fishbone as they did what they do best. It felt like we were right in the action, with their high-energy performance reverberating through the crowd. Crazy fun doesn’t even begin to describe it. Crescent Ballroom might just be my new favorite spot for catching live bands.

All in all, it was a night of hot beats, hotter food, and memories that are gonna stick with me for a while. Highly recommend it—just maybe skip the margarita unless you love that super tart vibe!

I love this place, the perfect size, historic garage vibes, excellent sound and great customer service. Beware of tickets sold on stubhub and viagogo, I bought tickets on viagogo and when I arrived at the show they told me that the original purchaser had already refunded the tickets. Luckily for me, there was still capacity available and they let me and my girlfriend in anyway! THANK YOU so much Crescent Ballroom door lady! 🙂
