I recently stayed at the cranberry cottage for a work trip. It came recommend from coworkers who previously stayed there. Overall the experience was pleasant.

They keep rooms clean and leave some fresh items like snacks, milk, filtered water, coffee, etc. and there is microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee machine, iron, toiletries, etc. They have internet with WiFi password, cable and a book of information like phone numbers to businesses you might need and restaurant menus. Everyone delivers and taxis are easy to find and fast! I only saw one cab company online but there are more. If you stand outside the airport, the phone number is on the sides of the cars.

Some things to know: the cottage has two rooms available so advanced notice is likely necessary. The owners use a Facebook page as the main advertising addition to word of mouth. They respond reasonably to email and text if they provide the phone number. It can be challenging to get them on the phone in this area but it’s the best way to get your credit card info on file. Give yourself a few days/weeks for the back and forth communication. When you arrive there is not an office but the door to my room was through an unlocked door with a key and note with my name on it. I just texted or emailed when I arrived and left. If you need additional items or help they say just ask. Checkout is 4pm and check in 5:30pm. I don’t see a phone in my room but did get service outside.

Rooms are very nice and cozy. Excellent customer service. If you must go to Bethel this is the best place to stay.. trust me.

We only got to stay one night on our way to Mekoryuk. We rented both rooms. Neat, clean, provided fresh milk, oatmeal, snacks and coffee. It was quiet, close to the airport and about 1 1/2 miles to town. Pretty easy walk into town.
I would gladly stay again! Thank You!
