We visited while construction was still going on but it's a very nice place close to the major highway.

They were a little short on staff and room service as well as breakfast service was a bit below their usual standard . We liked their complimentary as well as their made to order items.

The pool was really really warm at 96 degrees undoubtedly still just in the process of working out the bugs

I read the reviews and thought this would be a nice place to stop on the way home from San Diego. we looked forward to wine tasting and some down time. When we checked in The front lobby was under construction. That is where the food is. Then I went to find the pool and spa. The sign at the door going out said it was closed for repairs. Nowhere on the website did it state any of this. I went back to the front desk and cancelled our second night. It was like they were trying to hide this from us.

Room is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is modernized and feels like new. The lobby has free coffee, tea and water. Staffs are friendly. The price is not very expensive. Note that parking may not be free.

The hotel lobby was under construction when we visited. The rooms were clean, and standard amenities (towels, shampoo, hairdryer) were available. It's a decent walk to town or a very short drive. They do charge extra for parking.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share a troubling experience that occurred during our recent stay at Courtyard Paso Robles as it raised serious concerns about both safety and staff training.|| My wife and I were in our hotel room when the door suddenly opened—by a complete stranger. He had been given a key to our room by the front desk staff, despite the fact that we were inside and the room was clearly occupied. This individual explained that he had previously stayed in the room and had left a hat behind. While he was apologetic, the entire situation was alarming, especially when I saw that a staff member was standing right behind him and did nothing to intervene. ||It was only due to the fact that I had the security latch on the door that the situation didn’t escalate further, but it could have been far worse if we hadn’t taken that precaution. ||I immediately contacted the front desk to report the incident, but the response was less than reassuring. The staff claimed that they had given the wrong key, but that explanation didn’t make sense—this man was able to identify and locate the hat he had left behind in the room, meaning he was indeed in the correct room. The whole thing seemed like a poor excuse for what was a serious security lapse.||I have to ask—how is it possible for someone to be issued a key to a room that is occupied by another guest? What are the protocols in place to ensure that a guest is not granted access to a room without verifying that it's not already in use? How was this man able to simply walk into our room without any checks or safeguards?||This incident has left my wife and me feeling unsafe and shaken. As a long-time Marriott customer, I never expected such a breach of privacy and security. I hope Marriott takes this matter seriously and takes immediate action to review and revise both their security practices and staff training. Proper procedures must be in place to prevent this type of incident from happening to any other guests in the future.||In the end, I would advise potential guests to be cautious about the security standards at this property, and I sincerely hope Marriott uses this as an opportunity to improve their practices and protect the safety of their guests.
