One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The rooms were updated and clean. The lobby area is very nice and comfortable. But the best part about this hotel is the staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, helpful, attentive, and professional. We had a large group and they made sure we were well taken care of. They were accommodating with everything we needed. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Probably the worst Marriott I’ve ever stayed at. The air conditioner was so loud I had to keep it cut down to the lowest setting. The fire alarm went off repeatedly between 230am and 430am. The floor was absolutely filthy. I used a towel to clean up some water I spilled in the floor and the towel was black when I was done!!! I essentially paid 160 bucks to get no rest in a dirty, hot room.

Not a bad location for this town but a very aged property. I felt this property needs a full remodel as the walls were very thin and could hear every door slam down the hall. The staff seemed friendly which helps. I wasn’t excited to get into the elevator to see their permit had expired months ago and when mentioned to front staff he laughed and said waiting on them. I get it that’s it’s a government thing but maybe a sign addressing that it’s being submitted and just waiting on the paperwork. But then on the upper floor I noticed something I’m not used to see an Exit sign pointing to the elevator. Maybe this is an Alabama thing but if it’s an emergency I see that sign and expect stairs but it would have guided me down to the elevator. Seems like their GM Brad would know to avoid. I just don’t see that in other properties and I’ve stayed at over 850 nights with Marriott so I see trends. I’ll try a different hotel next time in town.

Positive: Very comfortable room, very clean. Negative: There was an adequate complementary coffee available in the lobby with powdered creamer; nothing I would choose. A good cup of coffee and breakfast items were available for purchase. I guess I?ve become used to complimentary breakfast elsewhere.

We enjoyed our one night getaway from the kids, lol. Staff was attentive, and the room was comfortable. The location is easy to miss though. Overall great stay. They do have a starbucks inside for certain hours as well.

Housekeeping is every 3 days so I had requested a refresh on the 2nd that was ignored. Service is average. Location is good with several restaurants in the area. Rooms are modern. Gym is below average with old equipment and just the basic equipment.

Upon walking in the door, the staff is very pleasant and inviting. Trisha and Tony were very helpful and friendly. We've stayed here a few times this month and it's always the same, wonderful. Our room was comfortable and clean each time. You always know what you're getting when you stay at a Courtyard! This trip they were playing a fun game. Find a pumpkin in your room and you get a prize (points). Great place!! Highly recommend this location.
