The only other county fairgrounds I've visited are in Illinois state and Charleston, IL. I've experienced races, farm animals, and the fair there. It has a dirt track and enough space for larger set-ups.

The derby was well organized. I would recommend if they have box seating available to get it. It's only a slight bump in price, and you get more separate seating. Food was surprisingly good, they had philly cheese steak sandwiches and bratwurst - both tasted much better than I was anticipating. Lines weren't terribly long due to proper planning and organization on the fair planners part. All in all? Id definitely recommend checking out venues scheduled here!

Venue is what it is... lots of hillbillies, plank benches, bring cushions. Get in early to get a seat not obstructed by the roof supports. Expect to be real friendly with your neighbors at a capacity event.

Seems like the fair is smaller every year. Wish it could be back the way it used to be.. otherwise good place to take kids. They still enjoyed it!

Worked carnival here. Had nice time in area shopping local resale shops. The people were very polite and I enjoyed visiting here.
