A hidden gem. Have driven by here many times, stopped for the first time today. Got the sampler for 22 bucks. It's a lot of food. The pork chop was excellent, ribs are good. Sides and salads are legit. A couple picnic tables outside for dining. Prices are reasonable and staff are courteous and kind. Highly recommend

This butcher is fantastic! Best Filets ever!!! Excellent quality meats. They’re chicken is free range. They make a variety of salads that are delicious. BEST Jalapeño CORNBREAD I have ever eaten. Great variety of brats for the grill. Don’t have time to cook, they’ll do it for you, just bring utensils! Family owned and operated and they’re the nicest people in town! Very reasonably priced for the quality.

First time coming out here. Picked up the Ribeye sandwich with onions, Cheddar cheese and A1 sause. The steak was cooked medium-well perfectly. My only complaint is that the French bun is very dry. Also grabbed some of the white Cheddar cheese mac&cheese. It was good but not warmed up. The macaroni salad was on point. Definitely coming back to try out their BBQ.

Listen, when my husband and I walked in we were greeted kindly by everyone there including the butcher that came around the counter to show us around. The entire experience was AMAZING! I seriously appreciate the level of kindness from the women that prepare the salads, desserts, and bread. They seem so happy to see us! We WILL be back, I just wish we discovered the gem sooner. I ordered the rib tips and OMG it was FANTASTIC although the second order of tips were a little too salty. My husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it tasted fresh from the grill! I swear it’s thee best bbq I’ve had in a very long time (with the exception of the second order of tips). I’ve had bbq from other restaurants in Dekalb (yuck)!
The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious overall and customer service was outstanding. Thank you again! Oh and the orange creme pop was a hit as recommended 😃.

Normally never in Sycamore, drove past on one of the first beautiful days of spring on a way to visit a friend and stopped randomly. Looked like a nice local joint from the outside. I went inside and they were very welcoming. Let me sample 2 BBQ sauces and recommended the pork sandwich. They say they've been making Tom's BBQ sauce for over 30 years. And homemade hot Gardiner too. I got mine with frilled mushrooms and onions too and even with the uncharge for all the toppings it was still very reasonable priced. I left very satisfied and I recommend ppl check this place out.

Stopped by here after doing a club fitting at Sub 70, and this place is my heaven on earth! Had a great Italian beef sandwich that tasted like the freshest beef I've ever had in a sandwich. Picked up some sausages too.

It's a shame I live down in Chicago because this place is an absolute gem!
