I stopped here at 10 pm at night. It was easy to find just off of the highway. The woman that checked me in was wonderful! She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was surprised they had a handicap room available. The room was clean and cozy. The hotel was nice and quiet. The breakfast was tasty and the food staff were also very pleasant. This hotel is now one of my favorites.

This visit started off rough. They put me in a room that hadn’t been cleaned by housekeeping initially. It was during the week after 5pm and there was zero reason for that. Super gross, but fine. Whatever. I tell the front desk and they give me a different room. The rooms are dirty. The bed was clean and there were no bed bugs thankfully. The carpeting is absolutely disgusting. It is very clear that housekeeping does not run a vacuum through the rooms after they’re done cleaning. My carpet had crumbs, debris and even a random hair pin on the ground all in obvious sight. Zero effort is made to clean properly and management doesn’t follow up. The rooms are very worn down and beat up. I question how clean the bathroom floor is and the shower floor because they aren’t cleaning the carpet which is easy. Everything is worn down. The worst part of it all is there was a group of guys grilling on some small grill in the parking lot. They were loitering and drinking. Ir also smelled like weed. Do whatever you want, but keep it respectful. They should have never been allowed to do that there. A hotel parking lot is not the place. It was like a party over there. I could hear them in my room. Nothing the hotel could have done would have made my visit pleasant or more enjoyable. I was supposed to stay for three nights. I checked out early after one. This place is awful. I will never go back.

This hotel is DISGUSTING!!!! The carpets going to the rooms on every floor is literally black and brown 🤢. The carpets in the rooms are black and brown. The Sofas have stains. Shall I proceed that they need to update the Tv, Bed Frame, & Night Stands. Pull the carpet up and put in hard wood floors!!! Please do some work to this hotel. The only pros is the outside look and break fast.

Oh, everyone here has been wonderful! We were in a car wreck and came here by Uber from the hospital with only the clothes on our back. The front desk staff has been helpful and a very nice housekeeping staff member named Kiki loaned me her cell phone charger. We were very impressed with the breakfast selections and I have never seen a cleaner breakfast area! I rate you all a 10! We ended up extending our stay one day to recuperate from the accident.

Worst hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. I used Country Inn & Suites for the first time in Springfield, OH. The reviews were iffy so I was skeptical, but to my surprise, it was very nice. The staff was phenomenal, the rooms were 4.5/5 rating IMO, it was a safe environment, all around it became one of my favorite “cheaper” hotels. So fast forward to yesterday, thinking the reviews are over dramatic etc etc. NO! It was nasty, smelt like musty buttcheeks, sex, and mold, the tv was set in Spanish (not that big a deal) but still, the carpets had bleach stains like they used it to clean up blood, the walls were stained and painted over, the shower was nasty and barely worked. Take pride in your business and upgrade the technology, invest in remodeling.. hell do a floor at a time, but damn it’s horrible. I’ll never stay they’re again! Location and the front desk is the only reason it got 2 stars! The girl upfront at check In was as really nice and accommodated everything I asked for. The location seemed safe but traffic sucked.

Picked location due to later checkout and traveling cross country seemed decent
Hotel staff opened our door twice while we had do not disturb sign on door
8-9am opens door staff open and slam…”are you checking out?”
11am or so- staff disturb my husband AGAIN asking “when are you all leaving are you all checking out”
Told manager of our concern and she said she would reward points as she can not refund because of “lowest rate” as this is not the “lowest rate” in Tuscaloosa compared to other hotels….we picked this location for late check out.
Flash to a month later nothing on my choice account of points rewarded…and I have had to contact support for the inconvenience….

Unprofessional staff… teach your staff that a late checkout is important to some guests… and to ALWAYS KNOCK! As someone who has been in professional housekeeping I try to give the benefit of the doubt BUT TWICE is just negligence

Good price, safe area, clean and very accommodating. My daughter was traveling from different area to meet me and they were so accommodating to help for a different arrival time during the night. Breakfast very good and so organized and clean. Late check out which was outstanding. Short drive to the university. Would definitely stay here again.
