Ended up at this motel after driving for hours thru Chicago never-ending road construction on July 4th weekend. It had the only 1st floor smoking room available within 2 hours, so decided to stop.

The owner/manager was very nice. The location was safe, the linens appeared to be new, clean and of good quality. The Room however, was in quite shocking shape... especially for $75.

It was apparently a room that was in the middle of a remodel. This was never told to us. The carpet had been pulled and replaced with vinyl "hardwood", which was nice. There was one queen bed that appeared to be new, the other bed was missing (but we only needed one bed). There was supposed to be a fridge and microwave. There was only a fridge that was the size of a tiny cooler, but no microwave. There was 1 nightstand, with the drawer missing and the front ripped off. There was a desk, but the desk chair was broken. The TV and cable box were plugged into an outlet that was controlled by the light switch, do if you turned off the light, no TV! The new curtains were straight ridiculous, as they would not meet in the middle.

The absolute worst issue was that it was a 99 degree day and the AC unit was off when we arrived. Even though we turned it on the coldest setting by 9PM, we just sat there sweating and miserable. It never got below 80 degrees in the room before checkout the next morning, so we got very little sleep, it was so very very hot in that concrete block room!

This will be the most harsh review I have ever posted but this motel should be shut down. Don't stay there unless your selling your body for crack or a customer of such a person. The front desk people are not accomodating. The room was semi clean but don't open any of the drawers-they are disgusting. Haven't been cleaned in a long time. The bathroom had towells with spots on them and they were very thin and worn. I dried myself with a t shirt rather than use the towels.I had a room with 2 queen beds and one was lumpy and leaned to one side. The other was barely comfortable. Has a tiny tiny fridge no microwave no coffee maker. The door has no chain and the deadbolt was extremely hard to operate and when I had it locked I found it extremely hard to open up the door to get out. This place is run down the management is not friendly-they actually border on contemptuous. It's just icky. You'll want to shower and fumigate anything you brought in the room after you leave. Oh I forgot to mention this motel is across the street from a Truck stop and is very noisy.

Very friendly staff, gave us a discount on our room. Rooms were clean. Beds we're comfortable! Nice clean exterior no bums hanging around. There's a microwave and mini fridge. Only complaint would be a few holes in the wall but that's about it!

This is a good choice if you're looking for a cheap overnight stay, but I would not recommend staying for long, especially in the winter. The main issue I had was that the heater could barely heat the room above 60°F, though it was probably at least -5°F outside, but I don't think that's an acceptable excuse. Another minor thing was that the door was hard to open. Besides that, the bathroom, bed, fridge, microwave, and TV were good. The office service was prompt, so check-in and check-out was easy.

Smelled of mold, my allergies kicked in immediately. I told them we needed a First floor room due to my health issues and we get a 2nd floor. The sheets looked like they were not cleaned in 10 years, the floor is horrible, cracks in brick and mortar on walls. Lot in total disrepair and 2 kids shooting up heroin on stairs when we were walking up to our room. Totally would give zero stars if I could

Place was priced accordingly. Bathroom though was in pretty bad dis repair. No hot water all weekend and a sink faucet that would not shut off. All this while owners are driving a 7 series BMW & Range Rover!! Is a great spot to stay if you are attending Chicagoland Speedway. Quick 15-20 minute drive to the track.

Rooms are disgusting. I was asked as a contractor to remodel a bathroom for free, are you serious for free to do other rooms and or other sites they own but they turn down a low bid I gave them for a remodel at the Comfort Inn And Suites but yet they want free service to remodel a bathroom. Honestly the rooms are disgusting, beds are nasty, rugs are so dirty and it reeks of cigarette smoke. Enjoy your stay at a low rated motel!!!!

Clean remodeled rooms and fresh running water. Really didn't expect more than that. I've been to a LOT of motels at this price and some still dont even have flat screen tv. It's clean, friendly, and has a ton of amenities included. Fast wifi for the price. Recommend for contractors especially.
