I recently stayed at the Cottage hotel bed & breakfast in Ransburg, CA and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. The cozy atmosphere of the cottage was the perfect vibe, especially after hours of riding dirt bikes. Coming back to a cozy place to shower, eat and stargaze was perfect!

The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the surroundings of Ransburg, with stunning views of the desert landscape. The peaceful and serene evenings allowed me to relax and unwind, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

I was in contact with the owner, Marty, long before arriving, just talking to him on the phone, I knew everything was going to be just right. I'd been cycling all day and had to fight a nasty wind all the way from Olancha; it's sad as I arrived so late and could not see the town of Randsburg well in the dying twilight.
You know that if a hotel has a name (and not a number) for each room, you know it'll come with fine character.
The bathroom was really fine and the room so cozy. Had I had more time I would have relaxed out on the patio. They made me a fine sandwich for dinner.

Ok this may get a bit long so to start with you won’t find a better value for miles. Well there aren’t many choices anyway but trust me when I say I’d stack the Cottage Hotel and the wonderful, personal support from Marty and his team against any high-end fancy hotel any day.

Let’s face it, you come to Randsburg to enjoy the outdoors, meet wonderful adventurous people, do some amazing motorcycle / dirt bike adventure riding, or quad / 4x4 / etc. and of course grab a few drinks at The Joint and the Cottage Hotel completes that experience.

This was my second trip to Randsburg and the Cottage Hotel. A shout out to Steve Walker and Coyote Trail Adventures for coordinating such an amazing trip.

I do plan to return with my family just to hang out and enjoy the many sights the area has to offer.

Wow this is a great rustic hotel. We stayed in the Fiddler Cabin which was fun sleeps 5 people and has a fridge and coffee maker. We really enjoyed our stay and Marty and Debbie were great hosts. The spaghetti dinner they sometimes do was nice and a fair sized portion. Continental Breakfast was supplieded and was fresh with plenty of coffee.
Randsburg is an interesting place to visit and if you I highly reccomend the Cottage Hotel

We stayed here recently and it was great! Randsburg itself is full of surprises, and this place is another one of them. The cabin was wonderful with everything you could need. It was clean, cozy and had lots of space. We had a patio area in the back with a beautiful view of the desert and a deck in front that looked over town. I can't wait to go back! Loved everything about this place

Although we have relatives in town, we decided to stay in this year's Old Western Days Weekend smack dab in the middle of Rand's festivities at the Gomez's Cottage Hotel B&B, and we're glad we did! We arrived late in the evening but the keys for the "Lace Room" were waiting for us with open arms after quite a trek from Phoenix, AZ. Each room is a smartly appointed themed unit through the main house with other unattached cottages further on the property for a more private experience. They were most accommodating for all companion pets including (our Muskovy Duck Muttley) who was the hit of the hotel and made quite a few friends with other guests, town's folk, festivities attendees including Marty himself! There is ample parking at the rear of the hotel, if not, street parking just off the property is quite safe. The room and bathroom were very clean and neat, and the bed was comfortable for a most fitful sleep. There is the welcomed complimentary coffee brewing in the morning, but grab a cup o'joe early. There is open seating in the dining room with a well stocked mini fridge full of breakfast pastry items, milk, O/J, a cereal station, toaster and toaster/ovens at the counters. We threatened Marty & Debbie that we will be returning annually and everytime in-between as we had enjoyed our time and want to make our stay a family tradition (and we'll bring the duck) he loved it too!
