What a perfect find! This accommodation is a little different to the normal B&B as the accommodation is totally separate from the main house. Copper River consists to two houses with a choice of private bathroom or shared facilities. The kitchen is very well set up with every possible item you would need to prepare a meal. Breakfast provisions; cereals, juice, fruit, yoghurt, variety of tea and coffee, eggs, bacon etc. there was space for storing your own supplies and also the opportunity to cook evening meals.||Our host Quinn, took time to carefully explain the layout of the house, importantly the layout of the kitchen and stressed to call if we needed anything.||We were encouraged to take the short five minute walk to the river to view the salmon wheels and to watch net fishing. Great memories as we had not seen either form of fishing before. An extremely memorable overnight stay which was certainly one of the highlights of our Alaskan holiday.

We stayed here during our fishing trip on the Gulkana River. Mary has made a wonderful sanctuary tucked away in the woods and surrounded by gardens. It truly is having your own home with bedrooms, living room, dining area, bathroom, and a full kitchen. Our frig and cupboards were stocked and ready to go, and it was great to be able to cook our own meals right on site. The quilts and books gave it such a welcoming touch. We were a group of 5 and had plenty of room for all of us to feel comfortable. This place is a hidden gem worth seeking out if you are in the Copper River/Glennallen area.

Our host greeted us with a warm welcome. We liked having our own kitchen; the fridge was stocked with milk, eggs, bacon, homemade preserves (made with local rhubarb!), & yogurt, and the pantry had cereal, pancake mix and other staples for breakfast. We baked a freshly caught salmon from the nearby Copper River for dinner! ||||The host has decorated the cabin with her homemade quilts and needlework -- a nice touch. A homey and friendly find.

This B&B is located in a bush setting off the Richardson Highway - make sure you watch for the sign on the side of the road. The flat had several rooms and could easily accommodate a family. It was comfortably furnished and we found it very relaxing. We only stayed a night, but it would easily have served as a base for activities in the local area. Because it was fully appointed we were able to have both our evening meal and breakfast there.

We stayed here on a recent trip through Alaska, following the pipeline from Cold Foot to Valdez and fishing along the way. As we were driving down the Richardson Highway we saw the sign on the side of the highway a gave a call. What a fortuitous series of events! We stayed above the garage in a two bedroom unit that has a full kitchen, breakfast foods available and a good shower with great pressure and plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable, wi-fi is available and there is a tv with DVD player and plenty of board games. Everything was very clean, and the hostess was fantastic. In addition to that one of her other guests was able to show us an area in Valdez where the pinks and some silver salmon were running heavily and we were able to do a lot of fishing. The only thing I have to warn you about is that this is Alaska and I was there at the beginning of August and this location is in the woods. There were a lot of mosquitoes there, so you may not be able to enjoy the beautiful grounds depending on the time of year, and your susceptibility to these biting nuisances. Overall I would highly recommend staying here as the location is nice and quiet, the owners are wonderful and the prices are extremely fair.

Generous and comfortable accommodation with a well stocked larder for guests to use. Quin is an excellent hostess. A short walk to the Copper River. The out door decking is a perfect place for a barbecue.
