Although I haven't stayed at this historic bed and breakfast, I've watched over the years grow from a run down building as it was lovingly restored. Its history as a boarding house and store is fascinating and the building is on a side street in Miami, making it quiet and comfortable. They have been working on a pocket garden that just begs you to stop and enjoy the green foliage. The rooms inside are a step back in history. I know of several people who have returned to stay. It's a get your own &*#$% breakfast, which works great for letting you set your own schedule.

This former boarding house was once a saloon, The owner did a beautiful job decorating the rooms and created a beautiful garden which is available to guests. ||||Several rooms are boarding house style with a shared bath and kitchen. One room, the manager's apartment, has it's own bath and kitchen and can be rented for longer periods. The B&B is off the main drive and off street parking is available. The park and public pool is available a short walk away.

As a new Gallery owner 3 buildings away I was delighted to find such a hidden treasure so close. Finding friendship and great B&B. I look forward to family and friends stays knowing the enjoyment they will share with my experience. Wonderfully quite, private location close to walking in the old Historic Downtown Miami. Love the cook your own damn breakfest your choise and later enjoy the gazebo and natural rustic garden setting. Just like grandma's house. Remember that feeling that's what you'll find at the Copper Miners Rest.

I wouldn’t recommend planning a trip based on booking a room here. It took them 15 days to cancel my room, just enough time to make it impossible to find another accommodation in this small town, very unprofessional.
