This place was awesome we had a family gathering in the park and this was perfect for us. Room was amazing and smelled so good each time we entered in. I know we will be booking it every time we come out! Spoke with the host many times. So friendly and helpful! Great family running it.

Very small units but perfect if you are visiting someone in the campground or headed out fishing on Lake Shelbyville.

We had friends camping in Coon Creek Campground and wanted to be close. This place is right down the road. The rooms are small but have almost everything you need. Very clean and bed and Futon were very comfortable. It was nice and quiet too! We were able to get to our friends camp sights in about five minutes so were able to spend a lot of time with them. They are nothing fancy but serve the purpose. The only thing we would have liked to have is a small microwave but I don't know where they would have put one. Will definitely stay here again.

We recently had our family reunion at Coon Creek Lodge. We rented the 4 rooms in front so we were all pretty much together. The host and hostess of the lodge are wonderfully helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and stock with everything you need for a weekend getaway. We had a yard next to the parking area that we used for games, and a fire ring for fires at night. It is about 5 minute drive to lake shelbyville. Beautiful country setting, with deer running in the fields across the road.

I stay at the Coon Creek Lodge when I am at Lake Shelbyville for bass fishing tournaments. They are always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They appreciate my business. I stay in the cabins out front. They are supplied and equipped with all of the necessities. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and boats. There outside plug-ins for charging boat batteries. It is conveniently located close to Coon Creek boat ramp.

A hidden jewel at Lake Shelbyville.

My brother-in-law and I have been staying here for the last 17 years. We fish in the Spring and the Fall. We would never stay anywhere else. It is close to the Lake and ramps. The rooms are very clean and serviced well. It is equipped with cooking gear, a stove and small refrigerator. Mike and Linda are great hosts and their son Jeff is helping to carry on the tradition of great service. There is nothing negative to say. I have had better service here than some hotels in Chicago.

Comfortable and quiet although would like to stay there when campground open. Close to plenty of activities and lake access. Owner courteous and informative! Nice time
