I recently had the pleasure of staying at Comfort Inn and Suites, Tinley Park, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I checked in, the service was nothing short of excellent. The front desk staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient, making the check-in process a breeze. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering me helpful information about local attractions and dining options.

The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. It was clear that the staff takes pride in providing a comfortable environment for their guests. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as extra pillows and a well-stocked bathroom.

What really stood out to me was the level of attention to detail in the service. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, ensuring that everything was in perfect order. The staff was always available to assist with any requests, and they did so with a positive attitude, which really enhanced the overall experience.

Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for affordable, high-quality accommodations. The excellent service truly made a difference, and I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit.

If given the choice to stay at this hotel again, I would decline without any hesitation.

While the hotel wasn't the worst I've experienced, it certainly didn't justify the price I paid for 4 nights. The rooms earned a mediocre rating of 2.5 out of 5; they appeared somewhat worn and in need of maintenance. I noticed several issues, such as damage to the furnishings and spots of dirt on the walls. Particularly concerning was the bathroom; as I entered, I was greeted with a dried urine stain on the floor, which was extremely off-putting. Adding to my frustrations, our microwave had French labeling, which seemed odd and inconvenient for English speakers. Furthermore, I never use hotel coffee machines, but this one was exceptionally filthy and clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. Overall, this stay was quite disappointing.

Regarding the complimentary breakfast, it was passable considering the hotel’s overall quality, but the hot food selection was less than appetizing. The sight of the food made me apprehensive about eating it; however, the waffle maker was a hit and turned out to be the best option available. My kids, expecting crispy bacon at least one of the mornings, were instead greeted with an unappealing serving of gray sausage, which was disheartening.

The pool area could benefit from some improvement. The water appeared a bit murky, which made me hesitant to allow my kids to swim. The space is compact, and the chemical smell was quite strong. After spending almost 2 hours there, my clothes ended up smelling like chlorine. Improving air circulation and water clarity could really enhance the overall experience for guests and encourage more people to enjoy the pool area.

As for the staff, I would rate them a 3 out of 5 as well. Some were friendly, but others came across as quite impersonal, lacking in warmth or attentiveness. One morning, we encountered a frustrating situation when we ran out of towels both in our room and at the swimming area. We were informed that there were no towels available and we would have to wait until 10 AM when housekeeping started their shift, which felt quite inadequate.

In conclusion, if I were to choose a hotel for my next trip, I would definitely avoid this one. However, if you’re in need of a quick, affordable place to stay and don’t have high expectations, it could suffice.

I only purchased this hotel because of the indoor pool! My son is anemic and gets cold faster than normal. At check in lady warns me the pool is cold. So very aware the heater isn't working. We tried to swim and the water was absolutely freezing. It was like an ice bath. We talked all day about being able to swim at night to be turned down once we felt the water. I get that it's winter, but you have an indoor pool in Chicago. You advertise a pool but it isn't a functioning one. Not fair!

A Cautionary Tale About My Recent Experience with Comfort Inn Tinley Park & Suites & Expedia:

I don't usually share negative experiences, but after what I went through, I feel it's important to warn others.
On November 28 to December 1, I booked a stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Tinley Park through Expedia. From the start, I should have known better. Based on previous experiences with Comfort Inn properties, I was already cautious about booking a stay at a 2-star hotel. However, after seeing pictures of this particular location online, I thought it might be different. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
Upon arriving at the hotel, I immediately noticed the unpleasant strong smell as soon as I walked in. At that point, I knew I couldn't stay there, especially considering the overall poor upkeep of the place.
I immediately reached out to Expedia, only to be told that the hotel had a no-cancellation policy. Trying to resolve this directly, I contacted the hotel manager, but his response was both dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of trying to find a solution, he simply defended the condition of the hotel, stating that they were at 90% capacity and insisting the hotel was non-smoking. When I mentioned sharing my experience online, he even accused me of blackmail.
This was not only frustrating but completely unacceptable. I paid for a service I couldn’t use, and despite reaching out to both Expedia and the hotel, neither took responsibility for the situation. To anyone thinking about booking with Comfort Inn & Suites or Expedia, I highly advise caution. This experience showed me that customer service and accountability are not their priorities.
I hope others can learn from my mistake and avoid a similar experience.

The hotel's poor quality greatly impacted my stay. Despite my extensive travels, I have never encountered such a disgustingly unsanitary place. The rooms emitted a foul odor, the floors were consistently dirty, and there was a noticeable presence of mice throughout the premises. This should not be consider a hotel. NEVER AGAIN

This place is gross and very run down. We considered driving home 3 hours rather than sleep here after a concert. Hair woven into the sheets and blankets. Headboard and chair had dried droplets of ..something all over it. It's like an art piece in that EVERY piece of furniture and object in the hotel has a scuff mark or some accidental paint on part of it. Poorly patched hole in the bathroom door. Sunk in floor near the ac unit. This place is falling apart. Definitely will not return.

Pool is closed and they don’t tell you until you booked! Place smelled like a drug house. Very dirty and old definitely not worth the price for what you could get in the area. Breakfast is lacking as well. Only stayed because of the pool and it was closed…..

Positive: "" Negative: They lied in there ad of the pool working and it was a damaged handicapp room with damaged walls, no towels or kleenex that I complained about during the first 16 minutes of entering the room, on camera. I will never go back.
