It was a bed to sleep in and a shower to shower in. Only vending machine was on first floor and the 1 ice machine that was working quit the day after i got here. I will say all of the staff were happy, friendly, helpful and so pleasant to be around. Hotel is very dated but also very clean. And for Jasper Alabama probably the nicest in town. No offense to anyone

On company business. Room is really outdated and the service is lacking. I have to put up with until Friday. But if today is what I have to look forward it going to be really bad. The room was not attended to and when I reported it to the front desk I was met with indifference. The clerk said something about a rotation and my room was not on it, it would be tomorrow. I had to ask for some towels. Oh yeah the only ice machine working was on the floor 1 flight up. I don’t know what expect next.

Positive: The breakfast cook was nice. Negative: Unfortunately, the hotel was in a very poorly maintained state. One room looked as if the door had been hammered. Another room looked as if it had been kicked in. I couldn't get the internet to work. The plumbing/phones worked.

It’s an OK hotel. It looks clean but it doesn’t feel clean, the carpet is old and smelly, the restroom shows signs of mold. It definitely needs renovation. The breakfast area is nice, people at the front desk are friendly. OK if you are in a hurry to spend the night but I would recommend looking for something else if you’re planning on staying longer

They called us to inform us that our room tv had gone out before our arrival. It was a suite. In fact, all their suites TVs were out. I asked for an accommodation as I had children and needed more than two beds. I asked for two regular rooms for the same price. She refused. She told me to either take the room with no tv for the same price without any type of credit or cancel the reservation. I explained that we had been traveling for over 9 hours and to have kids in the hotel with nothing to do would not be helpful. I told her I thought it was a reasonable accommodation. She told me it was my fault for booking with a third party online. I asked to speak to a GM. She refused and then proceeded to tell me that she would be cancelling the reservation. I said no as I didn’t have other accommodations and would have to travel another hour to get another room and I would get back with her. She said, “We are choosing to cancel this reservation because you did not accept our generous accommodation offer” and then she just hung up. So now my family and I have no choice but to continue traveling at 7:30 at night. What a terrible choice for choice hotels. Just awful.
