Previous reviews were read and some left us wondering about the quality of this hotel. We traveled many miles looking for a place to shelter safely from the threat of Hurricane Milton. Comfort Inn & Suites on Ross Clark Circle had 1 room for one night only so we took it. We were pleasantly surprised. The girls at the front desk were pleasant and helpful despite the pressure they were under with constant phone calls and check-ins. The room was big and fairly clean. The shower was hot and had plenty of pressure. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Ice machines were out of order.It appears that this motel has had some updates but still needs a little more attention. The indoor pool was open and being used. Breakfast was modest and was kept stocked. Anyone should be able to find something to eat. Despite being in a busy city it was not noisy or hard to sleep. The location would be good exept that there is currently a lot of road work going on that makes it slightly challenging to get to. Not a 5 star hotel but we would definitely stay here again and very much appreciate the chance to shelter here even for one night.

Rooms are a decent size but unfortunately this hotel needs improvements. Key cards don’t always work and sometimes have to get maintenance to help due to key cards getting stuck. My main complaint is with whoever is responsible for cleaning the rooms. Ive found hair on the bed and in the bathroom in plain sight. It also doesn’t seem like they even sweep or mop these floors as they are not clean! Not sure whose idea was to put wood like floors in this hotel in the first place. The furniture in the room was also dirty and i can tell it hasn’t been wiped down at all, due to food crumbs and smudges everywhere. Also heard my coworker has a roach in her room thankfully i haven’t seen any in mine or i wouldve left. Only reason why i stayed because the room was paid for by work and it was only one night. Highly recommend they hire a real good cleaning company to clean these rooms because who ever they have currently is not doing their job !

Staff were all super kind and helpful. Rooms seemed clean. Bed were comfy.
Room keys hardly worked, had to use two multiple times to get in and had to get staff to open it for us. TV was super outdated, no channel names just had to guess. Only way to connect phone was with screen mirror and it didn’t work. Mirror was not on the wall all the way and my two year old could pull it off the wall from the bottom. Ran the water in the tub while getting ready to get in and hot water ran out while I was in there. Rooms got damp when we were out and about, our clothes felt damp in our suitcases and the floors felt like it had been humid at some point in the room. Unfortunately not the best stay at a hotel; it needs lots of updating.

Do not stay here!!!!! I had my children with me on a mini trip and one of my teens luckily it was my teen and not my toddler, was pulling back the curtains and a needle with drug paraphernalia came down from the top of the window and landed on the window sill. They came and got me and I told them not to touch it and proceeded to go down stairs and tell the front desk person, they came up and as they were getting it to take it away the maintenance guy was tapping around the same area and another one fell with drug paraphernalia in it as well. We were moved to another room and I proceeded to ask for manager they said they wouldn’t be in until a certain time. When I finally got to talk to the manager to be compensated and to leave they said it’s against their policy to compensate. My little child could have found those needles and after they talked to the regional manager all they could do was one day refund!!! I will never go back and I hope that they will clean properly for the safety of future stays especially with children coming in as well. This made me so sick to my stomach!!!!

My family and I was driving through town and when I called to the hotel to make a reservation, the front desk manager, Jesse Was very helpful Getting my family Checked in With a warm, friendly smile And first class service The hotel room was absolutely beautiful were really comfortable And the kids had fun Nice and clean place. Definitely recommended right in the middle of town easy access Give this manager a raise she is awesome. Definitely made our stay So much much easier

So, I checked in and had a problem with water leaking from the fire sprinkler. The lovely lady at the front desk took great care of me. Got me in another room and made sure everything was good. Rooms were clean.

Went to stay here as a night away from the kids, check in was very well and I got a discount for an extra night, I was unaware that I couldn't have a candle while in the jacuzzi, it seems that the steam set off the alarm(so said the fireman)fire engine#4. But the hotel made me leave the premises that night and charged me for both nights and a smoking fee even though they made me leave, when I asked to speak to a manager about it they called the cops on me, there are other issues but I hope the GM gets in touch with me and helps with this situation, seems like it could have been a nice place but apparently they don't want to take about any issues, also the alarm was going off in room 224? That was a floor above me but they said that was a know issue and had to call the alarm company to fix it. Very disappointing

Positive: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is near the hospital I was working at. I've stayed at this location several times. It has been renovated but there are still many places need replacing or repairing. Negative: Assigned 221 had to be moved to 203. I was unpacking in 221 I noticed a huge puddle of water in the entire left corner of room and the center under air conditioner. I tried to call desk but phone not working. The "upgrade" to a suite was not as nice. Negative: ""
