It's not a penthouse suite in Vegas... nor is it aiming to be. That said, the rooms are very clean, the price is right, the service/staff is terrific, and the location is perfect for what we need. We've been here many times over the years during duck season.

This was a really nice find in a town that is a little out of the way for most travelers. We stayed for three nights over the Thanksgiving holiday (and spent the days visiting some of the area's many wonderful wildlife refuges). We had a king room: pretty basic, but very comfortable and well-appointed and quiet. This is a family-run operation, and the owners were on-site the entire time we were there. They were friendly and responsive to all our needs. We will definitely book again.

We had a very late check in and the owner was kind and friendly even though it was 3am. The room was clean and met our expectations. You can tell a lot of love and attention is put into this property. It's older, but it doesn't feel shabby. I'd definitely stay here again.

Such a cute and cozy motel! The people who run it are so nice and friendly. It's an older style motel, but I will definitely stay there again. It is well kept and very clean.

Nothing fancy yes, basic but at the same time all good. Nice art and tables in our room, loved the color of the motel and the decorative additions around it. Well maintained and very clean--which matters all the more during COVID times. Plus a warm welcome. You feel like this is a place to arrive rather than just a place to move on from. We spent two nights there while birding in the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuges and were very content. How surprised we were to find the bed was made during the day and all the towels replaced--something you expect only at high-end hotels. Good location and reasonable rates. We will return for sure.

The minute I arrived on the property, I felt the positivity of the place. The parking lot was full of potted flowers & felt welcoming. I was greeted by the woman who owns the hotel, and found her delightful to talk to. I would describe the surroundings as "zen." Upon checking into my room, I found it to be simple and clean. Each room has a chair outside the room to soak up the sunshine. Around the corner from the hotel is a river with a walkway to get some exercise. In the evening you have several choices of restaurants to catch a bite. For those with a gambling bug there us also a nearby casino. Upon checking out I ran into the huband/owner of the hotel & like his wife, found him to be engaging & informative. There is more to enjoying a place than just the hotel room. I am happy I stumbled upon this property online, & would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay when you are in the area.
