2025. I moved to Colfax in 2005. I just had the best dining experience in Colfax in the nearly 20 years I've been here. The food was excellent; I had curry, my wife had pho. The atmosphere was comfortable. Everyone there seemed relaxed and loving their food. The service was top notch. I can't wait to go back; the menu looks great!

I ordered the basil fish with brown rice. It was very tasty. The fish was breaded and fried. A little crspy. There was a lot of savory basil sauce. Enough to coat the whole side portion of rice. The dish was big enough for me to have another full meal at home.
The service was perfect. Friendly and efficient.
The restaurant is nice and clean. Including the bathroom.

Great new place to grab dinner in Colfax! Portions are quite large so you get your money's worth. Their menu contains a variety of dishes to try. I haven't tried too many dishes yet, but I definitely recommend their fried rice! And most dishes have vegetarian substitutes like tofu, too, so that's a major bonus! Staff is always friendly when we order take-out. This place sees it's share of patrons come evening time, so wait times for picking up take-out might be a bit longer than expected. But the staff is always accommodating offering complimentary water while we wait for our dinner to be wrapped up. The vibe here is very chill and embodies the spirit of Colfax. Colfax welcomes this bistro with open arms! 😊

Food is very good but this is Colfax, people! They are charging San Francisco prices and we paid $35 per person at lunchtime. All the items we tried were very good except for the crispy egg rolls.

I guess they will draw Bay Area travelers off Interstate 80, because it's much too expensive for local residents.

FYI, there's an excellent Sunday Lunch Buffet for $15 at Royal Indian Cuisine in Auburn. That's our favorite spot for Asian food in our area.

I have lived in cosmopolitan regions for many years before moving to this wonderful little town. The food here is on par with any high end Asian restaurant. The prices are more than reasonable, probably too reasonable with the current rate of inflation--Grilled & lean Chicken Teriyaki with a HUGE portion and Grilled & lean chicken Vermicelli with a HUGE portion and both were only $15 each. Try to find food this fresh with the portion size anywhere post covid era. You simply won't.

I’ve eaten here 4 different times (3 times takeout, 1 time dine in). Each time I’ve tried something different and everything has been great! Chicken wings are super crispy, Tom yum soup is great, teriyaki bowl is a great serving. I could go on. Very nice staff, good food.

The food was great. I had a noodle dish! Love noodles!

I did feel like I should have been eating Mexican food (prior restaurant) in there, as nothing has been done to change the atmosphere

Very good food, the service is also very amazing. I was helped by a kind Asian lady who had a very heartwarming smile. On my way out, the cook led me to the door and greeted me, everyone was very nice. Since they just opened I will give them the benefit of the doubt that the atmosphere isn't there "yet." I ordered to go, and got to work with an amazing bowl of teriyaki chicken and rice. 8/10 will go there again surely.

The only con I have is the atmosphere. There's no music or any decorations on the wall. I assume they will add that in the future however. Other than that it was great.

Edit: they've added music so my opinion on the restaurant has increased!
