The beach is a great 4-5 mile (or more) hike offering seasonal seal and baluga viewing and seabirds as well. In summer month's one can catch a glimpse into the largest & oldest Alaskan industry, Commercial Fishing--the incredibly delicious Bristol Bay Wild Salmon run here and up into Naknek Lake

Also check out the part of the beach along the west end (closer to Naknek center) - saw some eagles once!
