We had very good attentive service. Haven't been here in years, like over 30 years so. Great homestyle food with great flavor. I had a turkey club and I believe my husband had steak potatoes with a side of biscuits and gravy. Presentation was great on both meals. See photos. I was pleased to be able to substitute the fries for onion rings without an upcharge.
***1/26/25 Today's visit I had the jumbo shrimp and substituted for vegetables and rolls. The shrimper definitely very huge. Our waitress Yvette was the best we've ever had in different level of restaurants. She was very attentive and on top of everything.

It was a pleasure dining here. I was taken care of by a young lady by the name of Rebecca. She was very pleasant and informative on the menu. I understood they're celebrating 60 something years in service. When it comes to food I don't quite understand , because everyone's pallet is different. To me the food was outstanding but I can only speak for me. I thoroughly enjoyed how homely and quiet it was at the time I went. I had a nice breakfast, cost didn't break the bank. Price was good for today's economy.

Checked out this place do it being featured by the city. Oh my goodness is the food great! So flavorful and yummy! We got the Paris platter and a breakfast burrito and both were amazing in their own way! The is honestly maybe my favorite dinner in the area now and might be out another two I frequently went to.... Worth trying!

Food was great staff was awesome attentive and polite. Carrot cake was fresh and out of bounds! Please eat here and support this restaurant. Cock-A-Doodle has been a family staple for generations. Help keep them open!

Everything at this restaurant is excellent. The staff is efficient and very personable. The food is absolutely delicious. I feel appreciated and enjoy the atmosphere. I go there regularly because it is a great place to eat good food and unwind.

Tiffany and Mercedes were great, very quick and thoughtful service. I called to see how busy it was, and Tiffany reserved us a table for the 6 of us. She went out of her way to see were well taken care of, Thank you guys!!!

I will keep this very short and simple. I look for deals on steak, dinners and lunches because my daughter has a disability and loves to eat steaks so I took her to this place.. after we were done I got the bill I got charged $23.99 for the ribeye lunch. I will show you photos so you will see exactly what I’m talking about what’s online and then what I was charged for! (The server I believe was named Destiny, hands-down, very kind )when the bill came Max brought it I asked her why I was being charged $23 when the steaks on the menu said $16.99 for the ribeye lunch and it was still in the timeframe of lunch because I called advance lunch doesn’t finish till 3pm .she simply said oh that’s the price from our anniversary Menu! you can look at the photos that I’m going to put down nowhere Does it say anniversary . any anyhow those are the exact menus online that I am going to post .so I’ll leave it up to you, whoever comes across to make the decision if you choose to go there or not I personally will not go there again. The ice tea taste great. The clam chowder taste great and the steak that my daughter ate looked good. But I felt cheated.

They have a home-kitchen vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive. My coffee was always topped off. I had the crabcakes Benedict for breakfast. It was very good! My wife also enjoyed her meal. We will eat here again.
