Wasn't actually at the college. I was across the street on backside of the college flying my kites. We can't fly at the college no more cuz they out up fences. So we moved across the street to the So called "soccer" field and fly there. It's usually good wind. But nit too much tonight! 😒 you're gonna have to zoom in really tight to find the kites. But let's see how many people can find them.

Great place to study and learn and get your education. The financial aid office is difficult to work with and do not stick to policy and procedure so good luck getting the financial assistance you need to complete your courses successfully......there might be corruption In the financial aid office at the Coalinga campus so make sure you know how to protect yourself from inside scammers.

Both of my kids go to this college and maintain 4.0 GPA's. I as a father could not be happier with how the college is run. The staff is very helpful and the professors are well educated. The new president is doing a fantastic job and I am looking forward to planned expansion and new buildings coming soon. I love this college and recommend it to any students looking find a smaller college in a quiet nice town.

I loved going to this small college of (at the time) 300 students. The education was excellent. Some of the buildings are now named after former professors of mine. Dorm-life was unique considering WHC was one of two community colleges in all of California with a dorm. We had tons of activities, sport events, performances. Foreign student population made up about 1/4 of the total student population (students from Calgary, Alberta and from Hong King) and 15 students from American Samoa. Student life was great. Good memories.

I love the layout of this college! Everything is just a small walk away and not widely exaggerated like West Hills College Lemoore. The Financial Aid Advisor is very friendly not like Tiffany G. Hernandez from WHC Lemoore. The Library personnel know how to answer your questions or concerns and some of them are friendly too. The small campus has a very welcoming vibe to it!

Student services , this place is a joke! called here about 12 times in one month, no answer. I finally went in to get information about a class and tell secretary , I need a typing certifacate. The first thing the secretary says, you have to wait til march to take the class. I said you want me to wait 4 or 5 months to take a class?
A student was standing next to me waiting her turn replyed, what class you need? I told her I need to take a class or test to get a typing certifacate for a job. student tells me I can take a test 1 or 2 days waiting.
student tells me drive over to old prison off 33 and make left, it on the left side before old prison. student tells me you need an appointment to take test but will be given info and appointment there before you leave.
building j is where they need to retire some old or burnt out employes.

thanks for the help student.

I would leave no star if there is an option for that. Have been emailing the help desk for a month. Called them several time and alway in voicemail. Left my number and name, waited, and no call back.

The Help Desk always give me the same number to contact, and I told them that on one answered and the voicemail always said that the school is on spring break from April 15th to April 19th. It the 30th now, and they still “on spring break”.

I emailed back to the Help Desk telling them that no one reply, gave me a number and email of the Dean of Student Services. Emailed and called again. Still no reply.

After seeing other review, I do not think it will be worth for me to drive three hours to get to the school when no one gonna fix may problem.
