I would love something positive to say about this campground because we really tried to like it, but the greed of the owner, Pam, will be the downfall of this place. She will nickel and dime for anything she can while stacking campers and tents on top of each other so she can make more money. Not caring that there’s a tree or rocks blocking you from even being able to pull in. Half of the sites require backwards hookups because they’re the size of one site split into two. So if you do decide to stay, bring extra long hoses and cords that’ll reach to the opposite side.

She will tell you one price on the phone and then charge over 200 more when you get there. Also, good luck getting ahold of anybody. If John isn’t working, Pam isn’t in the office. She stays for a few minutes then walks home. I’ve seen so many people needing help or wanting to check in and there is no one to be found.

The campground needs a ton of work, even the laundry facilities are out of commission. The machines are either broken or being used by their cleaning woman who does huge trashbags full of clothes everyday. The pool has a massive crack in the bottom. The bathrooms are clean though.

John and his son are the only bright spot of this campground. They’re nice and want to help. But Pam steps in and runs people off.

The location is something that can’t be changed, but you do have to go down a long narrow mountain road with trees overhanging. They also need to remove healdsburg from the name because it’s nowhere near it.

Beautiful location, visited here last month in June. We had beautiful time together with our friends and family. We enjoyed bbq, poolfun, walk around the pond and in the night camp bonfire with slow music and lots of chitchat.
Beautiful pond view cabin💕. The only thing cabin wasn’t clean there was spiders and spider webs around the bed. It was so scary to sleep. 🥹

This place is great!
I had a short stay I one of the basic cabins.
The cabin was clean and cozy.
The property itself is beautiful!! They have a nice little pond in the middle that can be fished in. There are plenty of tent, trailer, and cabin sites to choose from. The restrooms, showers and laundry rooms were very clean.
They also have a pool, and lounge/ eating area.
The staff are really nice and helpful

Beautiful large campground. Some activities for the kids but a wonderful outdoor, in the wilderness camping vibe. We stay many times during the year and drive down to the river for the day.

This campground was a great jumping off point for our visit to Sonoma Wine Country. It was far from full, as I guess our visit wasn't during the high season.

The road to get there was a little sketchy and 15 minutes off the beaten path. Other than that and being a bit overgrown, the campground was nice and accommodating for our stay.

One of my worst camping experiences. First and last KOA. The campground is packed, enough that you can hear people snore in neighboring campgrounds, which is not a problem on its own. The tent sites are overgrown and hard to get a stake in the ground, which is also fine, this is camping afterall.

The real issue is that there is no security or enforcement. When we arrived, there was a loud large family playing loud coutry music. Drunk and senseless Americans on campgrounds is nothing new. However these folks continued playing loud music till midnight, talking and swearing loudly, and no one quieted them down. Eventually some other folks had to physically endanger themselves and confront them. Once the circus actually fell asleep, we could hear more parties going on pretty loudly.

We checked out a day early since we needed to sleep. On the way out I asked the management if they enforce anything and got a hand wavy response.

The overall experience, the shabbiness of the campground etc reminded me of camping in rural Texas.

What a great customer service experience! Nick went above and beyond to make sure we picked a great tent spot. Very clean, lots of shade, room and privacy. They are thoughtful enough to make sure that you aren't stacked close next to other sites. Quite time was followed by all campers. The office staff was very accommodating. The pond area is very cute, Adirondack chairs all around and picnic tables. The pool is a nice size along with a spa area separate away from the pool. The scenery is beautiful.
