I don't often write reviews but the hospitality that the manager showed us was so out of the norm these days I wanted to thank him for a lovely stay. We wandered in after checking out from a bad Airbnb experience. Bob was welcoming and showed us around the quaint, well-kept property. He upgraded us to a waterfront cottage that we found to be very comfortable and clean and offered good recommendations for local restaurants. When we had an issue, his staff was extremely helpful. Bob compensated us without hesitation and left a very nice bottle of wine in our fridge. This cute little resort is clean, comfortable and takes pride in their guest experience. Thank you for a great stay.

What a gem! Cabin 27 has one hell of a view! The room was basic inside but spacious! It had a full, well equipped kitchen. Better than average bed. Did I mention the view?!?

But where I was most impressed, was the service. For a variety of reasons, I didn't get the text for the door code. I called the front desk and was met with a recording. However it was personalized to me! They wanted to make sure that they knew I did not have the text and we're waiting on me to make sure I can get checked in. They went out of their way to do that. Then when I spoke to them later they were so kind and helpful. Exactly what you would want in any situation. Just really can't say enough about the place. If you're thinking about it, just do it!

OUR RESERVATION WAS CANCELED PRIOR TO CHECKING IN!! ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!! MANAGEMENT IS A DISCRIMINATORY RACIST! The management canceled our reservation as we were trying to check in, we never got the chance to even stay at the property. The manager said that they "sent the code to check in" but we mysteriously NEVER received it. We went to visit my family who lives in the area, they live in a small house so we decided to rent a place to stay. My aunt, who suffers from MS, booked the reservation through a booking site. After booking, she was instructed to call the rental to place a deposit, which is unheard of (Definitely a scam move)! She put the number of guests who would be staying, which is required online and reserved a room with double beds. When we showed up to the property my aunt met us there. She was told that the code would be sent to her. After being on the property for about 20 minutes no code was sent. When she called the number for the office again, the manager was very rude and wanted to "ask some questions" before he was going to give the code out. The first question was how many guests were staying, which was 4. He advised that he only showed a reservation for 1. Instead of offering any apologies and solution to the situation, he was very rude and combative with my aunt, then canceled our reservation. This was the day after Thanksgiving, but luckily, we were able to find another accommodation for the night. It was my husband, my toddler, my aunt and myself left out in the cold by management. My aunt had rented here for other family members earlier in the year and had zero issues. But this time was the complete opposite. It makes me question is it because my husband is black? Is it because my daughter is biracial? The owner of this property should be ashamed to hire such an incompetent employee to be the face of their business. Reading other reviews it appears that this this an ongoing issue at this property. Although the property appears to be nice I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone! I really hope that they consider hiring another employee to conduct their business in a positive manner. The booking site has been notified and other agencies will be hearing about this as well to ensure that this won't happen to other potential visitors from being blindsighted and left out in the cold. As a business owner myself I would never tolerate this behavior from an employee!

The lake is beautiful, and the facilities are fine. The room is clean, and the space is not small.
However, the cottage we live in faces the road, so the noise is very loud. The worst part is the heater, the machine operates sound is very loud and kept me awake all night! I won’t consider to go back.

The cottages are tastefully & recently renovated with all modern amenities. The setting is right on the lake and theres a seasonal pool. They have boats available on their dock. We took a boat over to the Clear lake State Park and had a beautiful hike then ended the day on the water enjoying the music at the Stein & Wein Restaurant.

Accommodations were very clean and had everything we needed. Nice area to picnic, BBQ and watch the fireworks. Employees pleasant to do business with and very accommodating. Treated us very nice. Bob had lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Will stay again!

We stayed in cottage 20, which sleeps 4. Spotlessly clean. wooden floors throughout. Has lovely cotton bed linen on the very comfy beds. Bath and pool towels provided.
Cottage is very well appointed, 2x double beds,, comfy sofa, dining table and chairs and kitchen is fully equipped for 4 guests. Full-size fridge freezer and cooker as well as microwave, dishwasher.. Plenty of space /equipment toprepare/cook if you want to.
Cottage 20 is next to the pool and is right in the shore of the lake.
Absolutely fantastic place to stay in beautiful lake side setting, which I highly recommend if you're looking to stay in Clearlake.

This is a nice little place to stay and is right on the lake. We arrived early but were still able to go to our room straight away. We had done all the check-in via text & email and they had put the A/C on so our room was lovely and cool. Facilities provided were good and the room was spotlessly clean.||We had been warned that because of the heat & algae the lake wasn't suitable for swimming in but they have a nice pool area which we had all to ourselves. Towels for swimming were provided in your room and we also had a little deck to sit outside our room. We had a really quiet, relaxing afternoon by the pool and the views over the lake are pretty. The staff we met were all friendly & helpful. We enjoyed our stay.||I would say that the Clear Lake area itself looked quite run down and shabby. We were only staying one night passing through which was fine but I guess if you are there to go boating or fishing it's OK, couldn't see there would be much else to do.
