We loved this old-timey traditional diner. Such great history and trappings from the 50s and before, including jukeboxes at each table, an old wooden telephone booth, a U-shaped soda fountain counter, and more. I could sit there all day and just soak up the atmosphere and imagine all of the folks who have been there before. Add to that, the food was excellent. We shared the corned beef hash with the thin home fry potatoes and a pancake. The portion was ample to fill us both up without being overstuffed. The service was attentive and very friendly. There's plenty to see on Coronado, but I would definitely fit this in for a good breakfast spot.

I was SO delighted to find this place. The staff was so friendly. The barista is the best. Fresh pies! I had an excellent club sandwich with waffle-cut sweet potato fries. Peanut butter and chocolate milkshake with real cream ice cream. Adorable old-fashioned diner. Even the retro music was danceable!

I came here since I live in the island, and always that I have the opportunity to come it’s so good! They always make me smile and feel so comfortable, the waitress l, the food, the place! Great place with diner-style menu and attentive service. Lots of options (sandwiches, all-day breakfast, many pies and other desserts). We arrived less than an hour before closing and our server was friendly and brought our food fast. The cinnamon roll sundae was something I had never seen before and it was excellent. Very warm cinnamon roll and lots of ice cream. Lots of tables open at 8pm but still busy.

Amazing diner on the corner of a main drag. This spot has such oldies vibes and so many happy servers and customers. The food was seasoned perfectly and was quick coming up after ordered. I had the chicken and waffles. The best chicken I have ever had!

Cozy spot to visit. Was welcomed immediately from the staff as soon as i entered the diner. Very friendly waitresses. They knew everything on the menu. The place was clean, too. Had an older style feel to it. Reminds me of Al's Diner from the old sitcom Happy Days Again! Even has an actual working old jukebox! An inviting feel to it. Food was great! I got the grilled cheese & fries, with a Coke. I recommend. You can't miss it. Right on the corner.

After all the at the beach we were so thirsty.
We were blessed to spot this place.
Except the best ice coffee it was nice to sit around in the shade side.
So cozy place, even US Army go there for coffee 🙂

This is a great diner! The food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly. It was pretty busy the whole weekend, but they do a great job of getting folks in and seated. Our sandwiches were top knotch and huge! The onion rings were amazing.
