I booked this hotel to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was my first time visiting Denver and I was looking for a nicer hotel in a good area. As the trip was to celebrate a birthday, I wanted to see if the hotel would be able to do any special. Therefore, I called before the trip and spoke with Tyler. He was so friendly and such a lovely person to speak with. When we arrived and got to the room, there was a lovely welcome amenity on the desk to celebrate my friend's birthday. Tyler went above and beyond. During the stay, I was actually able to Tyler in person and was able to thank him for everything that he did. I also had really great experiences with Noah and Roger in the Valet area. They were friendly and super helpful when I asked about recs in the area. Would definitely stay here again!||Tip: Definitely walk around the area and it's very walkable||NOTE: Trip was actually taken in June 2023. I'm way behind my reviews!

We've stayed at the Clayton many times since their opening years ago and continue to bc we absolutely love it. From the amazing rooftop pool / bar area, fantastic food up there too, steam rooms and exceptional exercise equipment, to the clean surrounding throughout, always a special stay! Special shout-out to Ashley and Jeremy at the members club coffee area 2nd floor. Great smiley customer service and glad they're there.

My husband and I recently stayed and hosted our room block at The Clayton, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff—from the valet to the front desk, hosts, and bartenders—were exceptionally kind and accommodating. Our guests raved about the hospitality, and many mentioned how the hotel added to their positive impression of both Denver and Cherry Creek. The food was outstanding as well, making our celebration even more memorable. We can't recommend The Clayton enough for any special occasion!

Stayed here 3 nights with my pup recently. The hotel itself is beautiful and well appointed. The service is amazing on all fronts, from the valets, front desk, to anyone you encounter. It was quiet and the rooms well designed. They were so nice to my dog as well, highly recommend.

This is my favorite hotel in Denver and one that I stay at repeatedly. It's beautifully appointed and in a great location. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is very good. I would definitely recommend The Clayton if you're Denver bound!

The hotel itself is very nice, clean, and in a nice area of Cherry Creek. Unfortunately, this is very much a "nickel and dime" hotel. The only available parking "on site" at the hotel is valet, which is $59/night per vehicle. Otherwise there are surrounding parking garages that you have to pay for, then walk back to the hotel. There is a $35 (plus tax) resort fee per day. Upon check in I was told that I had a food/beverage credit of $25 per room, to which we chose to use for some in room snacks/drinks, only to find out after check in that the in room options are not included in that credit. This was never specified upon check in.

The staff was pleasant to work with, but the additional fees made this hotel way too expensive for what it is.

It is very sad when a corporate business feels the need to take advantage of their guests/members.

If you want a nice hotel, try Halcyon - the rooms are nicer, and rooftop bar with pool is so much better. If you want a good restaurant try any of the 20 restaurants within a block from this place that are not owned by a greedy corporation.

Another review said this is a nickel and dime hotel and that is such an understatement!

In what world or business is it appropriate to keep $3000+ from someone who does NOT want your service?!

What kind of reputable "member's club" would FORCE someone into being a memeber?!

This is terrible hospitality and business ethics.

So sad when businesses pretend to be built on excellence but are ready to rip people off.
