I had two rooms for two nights and was concerned when I read the prior google reviews. I did not experience any issues other than the shower water pressure was low in one of the rooms. I could tell the hotel was recently remodeled. The staff was very helpful and even turned on the water for me late at night. It was a great value.

It was a long trip getting there so it might have had some reason that we both fell asleep as soon as we hit the pillow. Very comfortable bed, courteous staff and plesent atmosphere. Not a top rating only because we were starved and the surrounding are has a terrible traffic pattern and it is hard to find a good place to eat a good meal.

Just received a $75 fee for my 4 year old marking on the sheets with a pen the hotel staff left in the room and unfortunately didn't find before he made the mark. They are definitely not family friendly. The lobby was pouring rain while we were there as well as the hallway was flooded at one point. The pool was extremely icey cold. Avoid at all costs if you have small kids!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT value stay at a nice property with amenities motels don’t typically offer. 🛜Fast WiFi, 🏋🏼‍♀️ gym with treadmill and cable machine, ☕️drinkable coffee & 🧇 solid breakfast (waffles & Nutella, muffins, yogurt & granola, oatmeal with walnuts, chocolate chips, cinnamon etc.), water vending machine open 24/7 in the lobby, great lobby store for snacks & alcohol (see photos), 🧺 large laundry room,🩱pool. Parking right out front, well lit area, feels very safe.

$15 pet fee (totally reasonable, given how nice this place is).

⚠️ It’s 4 stars because there is carpet in the rooms + a cloth armchair (we don’t like either because 1) they allow pets and 2) increases risk of bedbugs).

Staff is nice and attentive. There was a patron that thought it was ok to take their dog in the sauna and we were unable to use the sauna or pool because no one cleaned the room or shut it down after. Our allergies plus the dirtiness of an animal took away from our experience.

This is a real review in this really happened to me.
The date is October 18th on a Friday night 2024
I'm in a wheelchair
I was traveling with my mom who is 85 years not so young.

The room is nice
The location is great
The room is clean
Except

There was three bottles of 18 oz bath gel hair conditioner and shampoo That is nicely added to the shower wall that never slip off

They were all empty 🫗🥺
I didn't realize that until I was in the bath and ready to use it.......

So I cut off the water
Got out the tub (That was a struggle in the first place)
called downstairs to see if they would bring up some shampoo and body gel and conditioner.......
the gentleman informed me that he could NOT bring any up AND SUGGESTED I COME DOWN TO GET THEM MYSELF 🤔..... He did not give an explanation I did not ask why not...... I expect great customer service.
I'm only here for one night .....
So I dried off best I could ,
( remember I have a T-12 spinal cord injury) , so it takes me three times as long to put on clothes.
Eventually i went downstairs to get bath gel shampoo and conditioner 18oz bottles....... OfCourse I'm pissed off BTW😤
I arrived at the front desk The gentleman was not at the front desk but he was somewhere on the first floor..... After about 45 seconds of waiting... He went to the back and informed me he did not have any of the requested items😲.... But instead he opted to give me teeny tiny bottles of bubbly stuff and 1 bar of tiny hotel soap. 😡
The combination of the two made me unhappy and prompted me to leave a negative review.
Do better*
#1-Customer service is VERY important
#2- having all items that are supposed to be in the room for EACH and EVERY guest is also VERY important.... so 1⭐😮‍💨

Told me out of state residents only have to pay $50 incidental fee but in-state residents have to pay $200. Never anywhere else have I heard such an outlandish policy. Front desk attendant should look for something non-customer facing and management should have a thorough look at their business practices.
