I had a great experience here. Everything was all around and in walking distance so I didn't have to drive far for anything. The houseman Patrick helped a bunch and wasn't standoffish like some other employees I encountered. The front desk attendant in the morning was also very friendly/helpful. My remote and TV were acting up in my room but all in all it was a great experience. I'd highly recommend 👍🏻

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and my room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. And it's affordable too.

The rooms were okay. Dead roaches found in coffee machine and In the hair dryer. The service was good with the exception of the manager not contacting me regarding my stolen property. The maintenance man offered to watch my dog. Due to my current situation at that time, I let him. He then gave my dog to his daughter who then sold him to somebody in Georgia.
I contacted the manager and left messages twice, also try to contact during the day hours, but never received a call back nor had he answered the phone.
The receptionist and or anybody who answered the phone is very concerned when I was asking for the manager as if I was calling to get them in trouble
I however wanted to resolve the fact that my dog was stolen and taken out of state by the maintenance man.
My dog is still missing to this day
The maintenance man's daughter knows where my dog is but will not give it up
I find it very disgusting that the manager didn't care enough to call me back
I believe both the maintenance man and the the manager should be accountable!
My dog who is a service dog and an exotic lilac pocket bully, is worth at least $10,000 because he is neutered, with the service training who is worth way more
Unfortunately, the money they must have received for this dog was more important than my Hanky having his Mommy.
I'm still searching for my dog and I will not give up. Due to them sending the dog out of state, it's going to be a little difficult to get him back and to do the prosecution of the thief!
Currently seeking a civil suit
Still hoping that they'll realize that it's better to tell me where the dog is than to go through a civil suit
Also contemplating on putting a charge on the Clarion company

We stay at this hotel quite frequently and we always get great service from the front desk to housekeeping. DEE at the front desk is always very friendly and always very helpful. And the young man that runs housekeeping is always making sure when we see him that everything is good. We will continue to stay here between the reasonable rates and the service!

Worst hotel ever. Shower didn’t work and room wasn’t stocked with towels and rags. Couldn’t change rooms because they were fully booked. They were so many complaints on Saturday from other guest. No manager available and maintenance man left at 10. Then they lied and said maintenance man would be there at 8am to fix shower and didn’t. Better off staying at a red roof at least their showers work! Then no one can process a refund except for the manager.

The staff were friendly. The room was spacious and it’s located near a lot of stores and restaurants. If you're looking for something budget-friendly, clean, and safe, this is a solid choice. I’d definitely stay again.

Great Stay with Clarion Inn and Suites by Choice

I had an amazing experience at the Clarion Inn & Suites in Dothan, AL. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm hospitality that made me feel instantly welcome. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the front desk staff was both professional and friendly.
The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that made it easy to unwind after a long day of travel. I appreciated the modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, and a flat-screen TV. Everything was spotless and felt fresh, which is a big plus for me.
One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. It was much more than the standard fare—fresh waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, and hot coffee—perfect to start the day off right. The dining area was clean and well-stocked, and the staff was attentive without being intrusive.
The location is also great—close to restaurants, shopping, and a short drive to downtown Dothan. Whether you’re passing through or staying a few days, this hotel offers great value for the price.
Overall, I highly recommend the Clarion Inn & Suites in Dothan. It’s a comfortable, affordable, and friendly place to stay, and I’ll definitely be back on my next trip through Alabama!

The room is dirty, there are stains all over the sheets and wash cloths, the pool is green, and the customer service is horrible. Not to mention there was drug paraphernalia on the floor. There wasn't even batteries in either remotes and they won't fix it. They keep saying they're going to send someone to the room to bring batteries instead of just giving me some and then no one ever comes! Just horrible. Never staying here again
