I had a pleasant stay at the Clarion Hotel in Concord. It's a solid option, especially considering the price. If you can, I’d recommend opting for an interior room, as the exterior rooms don’t do as well with sound insulation, and you might hear more noise from outside. The beds were comfortable but not the most luxurious I’ve experienced. The bathtub showed some wear with noticeable scratches, but it was still functional.

The breakfast offering was a nice touch, with a variety of grab-and-go options, along with a hot breakfast including sausage, eggs, and potatoes in a sit-down area. Another plus is that parking is free, which is always convenient.

Overall, for the price, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in the area.

Our 6th yearly visit to family in Concord AND this friendly & conveniently located hotel was great (as usual). The front desk staff was so pleasant, efficient & we were recognized immediately. the room was clean and room service was performed well.|The breakfast buffet (free to guests) was open from 6 am to 9 am. We were impressed by two ladies (Betty & Chrissy) who handled the buffet daily. Friendly smile, service, and chats were provided efficiently and cheerfully! We stayed at the hotel for a week. The staff is so nice and the rooms were clean. The public areas of the hotel are impeccable. What stood out the most was the breakfast staff. Cross and Betty were the most friendly and attentive. We loved visiting them each morning and they recognized us by the second day. ||When our cable went out, the front desk staff immediately remedied the issue. Our garbages were also emptied and beds made while we were out. We got replacement towels as soon as we asked. Like I said, very attentive staff. ||There’s lots of parking as well. ||We are from Washington, so it’s already pretty cold. My crazy teenagers jumped in the pool because 60 degrees F is apparently warm enough. The water was cold, but the pool area well well-kept. ||We look forward to our trip next time because we’re definitely staying in this hotel. We really hope to see Criss and Betty again. ||Fixes: my only “big” issue is that there are no ADA bars on the wall, in the bathroom, for the shower. It looks like someone had previous grabbed the shower curtain and pulled down that rail. I think the shower could use this bar, for safety.

Everything was about right, except the breakfast. The Clariion offered a variety of cereals, but no milk.for the cereal. The vast majority of cereal eaters add milk to this dish. Something minor and possibly a personal sensitivity is that a hotel was once traditionally supposed to be a home away from home and guest were to be welcomed as hosts would wanted guests. In my several contacts with the front desk, I was treated properly and competently but not welcomed, not with a smile and wishes that I enjoy the hotel. Doing what I'm suggesting wouldn't cost the Clarion anything, but it would likely make your guests more likely to return.

This was a great place to stay for a few days. It was very clean. The best thing is that they serve breakfast in the morning. The two women working the breakfast in the morning were AMAZING! They were super friendly and accommodating. They always great you with a good morning and kept the facility super clean. Thanks so much Betty and Criss! They made the stay so much better!

It was a good experience to stay here for a couple of nights. At the reception Kiara gave us a nice welcome. The interior rooms are quiet, beds comfortable.
Breakfast included and Betty at the restaurant very attentive.

Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Sausage and scrambled eggs and cubed potatoes every day. No waffle maker. No smart TV in our room. Shampoo containers were very small. Pool is not heated, very cold. No restaurant on site.

The rooms makes me feel like I’m in jail because the walls are made out of cement . The sheets had yellow stains on them. The lady at the front desk was really unwelcoming and rude. The breakfast staff was low key racist as soon as me and my family step a foot inside the breakfast area this lady came running up to us asking what room we were in. But when other families of a different color walked through the door nothing happened. Me and my family felt uncomfortable as soon as me and my family sat down the lady kinda stood there about a foot away watching us for a good 10 minutes. Overall would not recommend the only good thing about this hotel is the pool and gym 🙂
