The Claremont Village Eatery offers a cozy spot for a quick lunch, but my recent visit left me with mixed feelings. Located conveniently in Claremont Village, it’s a small restaurant where you order at the counter and have your food brought to you.

I decided to try the harvest salad and the tuna melt. Unfortunately, the salad was initially served very plain, missing essential fixings, bread, and oil. However, the manager promptly addressed this, bringing the missing items during our meal. Once complete, the salad was quite good. The tuna melt was decent, but it came without any sides, which felt underwhelming for the price.

While the food quality was satisfactory, the portions did not justify the cost, making it a pricier option for a quick lunch. Despite these hiccups, the staff was courteous and responsive, which I appreciated.

Overall, The Claremont Village Eatery has potential, but there is room for improvement in terms of portion sizes and initial attention to detail. I might consider giving it another try in the future, but for now, it’s not at the top of my list.

Got the saddest excuse of a “deconstructed” avocado toast, with cheap bread and so much grilled cheese it didn’t fit into the plate. Stingy with the avocado too.
My partner got a breakfast burrito, VERY oily and bland.
Service is fine, they scream at you to give you your food
Coffee is okay!
Overall a disappointment, especially with the price that comes with it.

Pleasantly surprised. This is a gem. Food is great. Prices are totally reasonable. Chill vibes. Only downside is the non-compostable utensils and water cups.

I ordered the Claremont Harvest Salad and it was basically ALL cheese. It was honestly an obomination of a salad. There was cold grilled tomatoes and squash with like a pound of cheese topped on. I have no idea who thought this was a good idea. Other then that the guy who took our order seemed nice. Atmosphere was really nice too.

This new place in the Claremont Village is great! They serve breakfast and lunch options. The staff was really friendly when I went in and the meal was made within just a few minutes. I ordered a Vegged-Out sandwich, chips, and some white chocolate, macadamia nut cookies to go.

The sandwich comes with a cute, little muffin too. It was a really good meal with the hot sandwich filled with lots of grilled veggies, cheese, and greens along with the other stuff I got.

I'm a vegetarian so am happy to always a new go-to place in the Village. They even have lots of vegan meal options too!

The place has a lot of natural light with a big window in the front and the layout is really pleasing. It's rare to find places to grab a quick meal to go that actually has breakfast options in the afternoon! I'll keep going back and try their breakfast items next!

My sister in law and myself wanted to try this place since before the doors opened, and now I finally did! I ordered a Vegan sandwich that had eggplant that was grilled. Super good! It smelled fantastic as I came to the door, and even the employees were excellent at explaining and helping me understanding the menu. They absolutely accommodate plant based lifestyle, another thing that blew me away was that they made Jamaica. The sandwich was absolutely dynamite and I have absolutely nothing negative about their food or establishment. Also, a huge win is everything is compostable and biodegradable. I absolutely recommend this place for a quick bite.

I genuinely cannot believe a business like this exists in Claremont. Not too long ago, I ordered an avocado toast and it was moldy. The bread was clearly picked at, meaning they noticed the mold and picked it off but seemed to have missed a spot. Couldn’t even bring myself to rectify the situation with them, because the owner clearly lacks enough integrity to serve non expired food. I don’t blame the staff, I’m sure they’re encouraged to use everything they have regardless of quality. I noticed a blonde middle aged woman behind the counter who seemed unbothered with working and incredibly bossy towards the staff, it was very disheartening to see.
