My appointment was with Laura Columbia. It was nice to see her and to get a haircut after staying home during the Pandemic. She has been cutting or doing my hair for over 20 years. I highly recommend her. The CK Salons was clean and followed the mandatory cleaning and face masks.
The inside is inviting and nicely decorated. Always clean and tidy.
After the Pandemic, things are moving back to normal. I still go to CK Salons as the owner and receptionist know me by my first name. I am always greeted when I enter. There's available parking during the afternoon. Appointments are available as prom week for the local high schools have past. It was May 19th when I added more to my review.

CK Salon is a great place to get your hair done. I have been going there for many years and know Chris the owner well. The ladies treat me and my mother so well. They are very kind to both of us. I highly recommend them to anyone for great hair and excellent service.

I have been going to CK Salon since before they moved to this location, I have always been happy with the results until recently, my sons both get their hair cut there as well. But because we have had to cancel appts, recently and I had to cancel when I was sick in the hospital they have decided they no longer want our business. It was handled so unprofessional, they indicate it happened alot but in 12 years it hasn't happen so much. My last appt had to be rescheduled because my stylist was going out of town but the only time she had to reschedule was 3 weeks after. I was attending a wedding that saturday, so I had to do my own hair even after asking if someone else could do it. I then showed up for my hair cut but let them know the week before it would only be hair cut and not color. I had noticed recently a cold attitude towards me from my stylist I thought she was just having a bad day or maybe something was happening that was not of my concern, although I thought she was a friend. Not only did she cut my hair 3 inches more than I agreed but she cut it completely like she knows I don't like (straight across, and I have the pictures to prove it). So unfortunately my son missed his appt although his reminder call came 30 minutes before his appt.. although still his fault, he works from 3-sometimes until 2 or 3 in the morning. Before I could even offer to compensate the stylist for the time, I was told she no longer wanted to do my hair or my sons and that I could not schedule with anyone in the salon. Over the years, I have spent a lot of money in the salon with services and products. We are the customers and yes we were wrong to have missed or rescheduled our appts., but so many times the front desk and other clients have said she doesn't need the money she keeps changing her hours she just does this for fun. I have been very loyal to my stylist and the salon but the decision was made very unprofessional and childish. There are many choices for Stylist and salons and someone else now has our business, it was from a referral from someone that actually used to work at CK. I will be professional and not go into all the comments and issues the stylist have with the owner and have shared with many clients. Would I recommend CK Salon to anyone else, not a this time and I know the all referrals I have made will take their business elsewhere due to how they have chosen to treat me and my family. I do wish no ill will to my old stylist but this was very wrong and as far as the salon this was handled poorly with no regard to customer service.

If you are looking for a new place to get a fabulous hair cut, this is the place to go. You won't believe the difference a wonderful hair cut can make. I have been going for many years and I often have strangers, men and women, come up to me and ask me where I get my hair cut because it looks so beautiful. And in case your wondering, this happened to me zero times before I started going to CKs. Call... you won't be sorry.
