While the conditions aren’t the best, give them a little break since a year ago the entire golf course was under water! But for $29 to walk on a weekday you really can’t complain. The staff is friendly and the greens are in pretty good shape. We had to wait on most tees but still finished in 4.5 hrs. Glad to see a local muni still thriving and at an affordable rate! Course is super flat so it’s really walkable too.

NEVER GO HERE FRIENDS. Had my worst golf course experience of my life here today. 3 years ago it took us 6 hours to play 18 so I took a long break thinking it might get better. Instead I return to it taking 3 hours to play 7 holes and walking off the course with my friends because it was so slow. It’s a joke of an establishment putting super tight tee times and no regard for the quality of experience.

Not only that, it was the worst conditions I have ever seen on a golf course. The attached photo is what the fairway or hole 4 looks like. They should have paid us to be there not the other way around.

The golf course is in a great location. The fairways are pretty beat up. The greens are decent. The bunkers need new sand. It’s probably one the best walkable courses in the area. It has a lot of potential. It needs a lot of work. I played during weekday, and the reason for the four stars is due to the price. It’s very affordable. For that price and decent greens, it’s great to get a round done.

I was looking forward to a fun afternoon with my friends, but my hopes were crushed shortly after I arrived to this golf course.

They advertise to have one of the lowest costs in San Diego, but at what expense?
8-minutes between tee times. While this isn't unusual, it is not optimal in the courses current condition. After a little over 2 hours into play, we finally finished hole 5 and decided to leave after that. My suggestion here is to switch to 10-12 minute tee times, even at the cost of a few extra $$ from the players. Pace of play should be top priority and I do not think it can be achieved in the current model. Hard to achieve when every group starts 15-20 minutes late.
5% grass, 95% dirt. I understand the course as been through a lot in the past couple years, but it looks like a hybrid between an abandoned lot and a dirt bike race track. However, on the upside, if you can hit some good stingers you will carry an extra 30-40 yards because the fairway mimics the consistency of concrete. It was like finding a needle in a haystack to drop the ball in a patch of grass. What is the timeline for grass restoration?

In hindsight, I guess you get what you pay for.

Showed up 10 minutes early to my tea time. Finally got off 15 min late of my tea time. This picture shows me from my car at home 2 the car to the right is the man yelling at us to speed up and the carts on the green are the party ahead of us.Get to hole 2 and have 15 min to wait for the 2 groups ahead of us to hit and go and we get yelled at for taking our time. He then periodically comes by and yells at us for being slow until he watches us play hole 5. Finally apologized for yelling at us. This is insane that we are getting yelled at. Don't come here. The course is okay at best.

Great venue for family events. I have attended quince's and a Mother's day brunch. The price point is reasonable and the quality and service is outstanding. The food selection is an array and variation of breakfast and lunch. I recommend visiting at least more than once.

0 STARS ⭐️ WORST COURSE IN THE WORLD. If you want to play in Shreks Swamp then play here. The Bunkers are mud pits the fairway have minimal grass. You can’t even put the tee in the grass and most of the time you’re playing in someone’s backyard. They had people airrating the fairways while we were playing them. One guy wouldn’t turn off his damn machine while one us was taking a shot. The bathrooms are flat out disgusting. All this for $30 that’s the WALKING RATE. Complete waste of money if you’re wanting to play here just donate the money to charity at this point. They should have payed us to play the course. You’re better off going to your local park and playing there. Their website is a complete and utter SCAM. They make the course look nice with Photoshop. FYI if you play here do not bring nice clubs you will ruin them. We were ready to leave after the first hole. The highlight of the course was the pro shop and the practice green. The greens are a trampoline, I hit a good shot that hit before the green and proceeded to bounce off the ground. Nobody fixes their divots eathier so you just have random holes in the green which makes it impossible to putt. If you want to visit the Florida Everglades this is the place with the Everglades surrounding the holes. We brought a first time golfer and he wanted to quit. This course ruins the game of golf. No concession cart and it was 90 degrees out with no water. There was a guy with a dog on the green I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE DISAPPOINTED IN MY LIFE.

Pretty par for the municipal course experience. Can't hold a hole lot to them other than the slow play. All the rain did what it did on a couple of holes that are now currently under repair. Easy to get in; forever to get off.
