Right away, I want to say it's not a public/community park. Please respect the property. No running/yelling kids or picnics with the families 🥰

I absolutely loved this place. It was such a beautiful morning. It is a hidden spot in the center of Citrus Heights, a quiet and beautiful place, where people can slow down, forget the busyness of their day-to-day, and connect with God, pray and just enjoy His beautiful creations around.

Had an opportunity to talk to the stuff. They were really polite and felt really welcomed.

Went there on a three day retreat. Grounds were beautiful. The feral turkeys were a plus in my book. Staff kind, helpful, and efficient. Food was excellant. The group gatherings and services really helped. They have a lovely chapel and interesting, relevant homilies. Met a number of truly nice people. The center lets people come in and walk around enjoying the peace and beauty, as long as they don't litter, bring dogs, get rowdy, or try and set up tents. That's fair. Anyway, I would recommend this place t any day. I will be visiting again.

A wonderful location to find peace and quiet in a calm environment that is favorable to prayer and meditation with our Creator in order to escape the chaos and strife of this world. In addition, the food is excellent when it comes to satisfying one's inner man or lady.

I know this dates me, but I have been coming here for 40* yrs. I have never had a bad experience. I came here an atheist from a 12-Step Program, and have long since restored my faith, and even religion. However, once I had a less than useful experience w a personality there, and I do not remember who, but please do not let one bad experience color the deep faith and silence that is allowed. Following the Lord is not just about, "winning friends and influencing people." We are here to find God, not just fill our dance card....

Absolutely gorgeous place, BUT very unwelcoming. As a not catholic person, I would never want to be a part of this so called Church. Beautiful peaceful location, but fake stuff/people. They are never welcoming anyone, it’s all “private property, and you are not welcome here”. They need to attend smaller churches to learn what Faith and Love is all about.

It was a horrible place if you think this a sanctuary place- a safe place for a person needed help for safety. Instead of asking "May I help you?" Robin gave lecture of that is a private place, and need to stay away from the property. The people were treated less than a human being and shoo away. Robin the administrator needed a seminar for customer service and learn how to be compassionate. By the way Catholic virtues-
prudence, chastity, temperance, charity, patience, kindness, and humility. Ms Robin, please ask yourself, what is your virtue?

This place is fantastic! The atmosphere, staff, scenery, retreats!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would, without a doubt.

Just as a warning, though... If you wish to walk the grounds make sure to call before showing up. It's a retreat center, not a church after all, so sometimes if there are groups there then the public isn't allowed to visit.

I would highly recommend checking out Christ the King during the Easter/Lent season, their Triduum retreat is phenomenal!

Fr. Giltus & the retreat team is amazing, I love how there is always something that will resonate with your soul, no matter what.

A perfect place to smoke cannabis and observe religious zealots and the recently homeless while having hellish visions and ghoulish sensations. Something about the dry stench of dead grass and goose droppings causes me to peak well beyond past where any salted slug like me should dwell - definitely 5D terrible horrible nightmarish purgatory-like territory. Why don't I have wings? Why don't I have wings?
