Brian and Letty are very hospitable people. This is a traditional bread & breakfast. It was comfortable and intimate, and the home-cooked breakfast they make for their guests is great. We enjoyed our time there very much and it was affordable, with incredible views. Would definitely stay there again next time we travel to Prescott!

Brian and Letty are very nice people and the views are good.

Most everything else is subpar. Let's start with the very steep driveway for my compact car this was not fun. Once we get there-the gameroom is dirty and very disorganized. Our actual room had carpet that looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Was going to bring this up to Brian but after reading how he responds to people it just didn't seem worth it.

There's no mention of the drive way being as steep as it is. There is a photo but the photo doesn't do the steepness justice. our room had NO window and furthermore was misrepresented by the fact that there's a picture of our room with a curtain. The shower had pubic hair in it and the host (Brian) thought it was appropriate to talk excessively specifically about a friend of his who was in poor health.

Furthermore, when we began the process of trying to get a refund he pushed back and created more friction.

I would never stay here again.

My girlfriend and I are traveling, an since it is our anniversary, we wanted something smaller and more intimate than a hotel.
We found this place on a Google maps search and it was reasonably priced so we booked the last room.
The other guest's were unable to make it, so we were upgraded for free.
The owners were more than accommodating! They were super nice and very hospitable.
I will definitely stay here again and I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys quiet and an amazing view!

We came to Prescott during the hottest part or the year and searched for a bed & breakfast as is our wont. We found this place through our Google search and it sounded good. A/C, private bath, on a hill overlooking the view. When we arrived we were told the bathroom had to be shared. The "A/C" was a stand alone unit in the living area of the basement where our room was located. The basement bedrooms have no legal egress. The website photos show a curtained window. But it is deceiving. There is no window. I voiced my concern to my companion. But she felt bad for canceling because our hosts mentioned a death in the family.
So we were going to try it. But after less than an hour the heat in the basement became unbearable for her and she told the hosts we were going to a different place. They did not offer a refund despite the deceptive advertising.
Otherwise, the host was friendly. The location is great.

For the first time ever, I made reservations for this weekend at a bed and breakfast. The website made it look really good, but when we got there we were in for a big shock. The carpets were dirty the bedding very old, mismatched Furniture the window had a hole in the screen so they just tacked up a huge piece of screening to the inside of the window which covered the whole window, completely blocking the view outside. The room amenities said it had a refigerator with an attached bathroom. Turns out, the coffee maker the refrigerator and the little table with dishes on it we're actually in the bathroom! There was a little half wall-on one side was the table on the other side was the toilet! The shower drain was all rusty and there was a big bug in the shower. The wrap around deck with the stunning Vista that was shown on the website was not a part of our room, but they were kind enough to lead us through the house so that we could look at it. The boards were badly weathered the paint was chipping and the deck was slanting. I was afraid we were going to fall. I called and found a motel to go to. When we told the bed and breakfast host that we were not staying, because we were disappointed with the facilities the man got mouthy. The woman kept trying to shush him. He said he didn't know why we didn't like it because the Arizona governor and senator stayed there in the same room and really liked it. No way. I have video and photos to back all this up. When we asked about a refund, they told us to take it up with booking..com.

Brian and Betty were excellent hosts. The venue is breathtaking and the hospitality was exceptional. Our group of 16 Physics students rented the whole house for 3 days and had no complaints, whatsoever. The beds are comfortable, the house is spacious, the amenities were plenty, and the hosts were incredibly gracious. The price was affordable and of great value. All 16 of us agreed that we would recommend Chisolm Trails End B&B to anyone interested in a quality night's stay in the beautiful Prescott, Arizona. Thank you Brian and Betty for helping make our conference great!

I was traveling on my own, turned up late one evening without a reservation and was confronted with a big gate. I called and the host, Brian, opened it up and made me feel welcome straight away. This is not a hotel, it is a large private home run as a B & B. I found it very comfortable and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Brian and his wife, Letty, were very friendly. After he had cooked me a great breakfast on my first morning, they both sat with me for about two hours and chatted - to me, this was the essence of a B & B as opposed to an anonymous motel. I loved the huge deck with wonderful sunsets and a delightful place to read and relax.||||I can understand the other reviews as this is not a standardized hotel. I just saw my bedroom but understand that most rooms were in the lower level (not below ground) and with different configurations. The décor throughout is eclectic with memorabilia from many countries. It is a cash only establishment which was no problem for me. ||||Bottom line, if you are happier in a cookie-cutter type of hotel/motel, then stay in one. if you like different experiences and meeting friendly people, THEN STAY HERE.
