Do not be mislead by the pictures like I was. Read the other reviews. The entire hotel is in a never ending state of renovations. Lobby had construction materials all over the place. Breakfast area was under repair and so no complimentary breakfast. No usable pool or hot tub. Rooms looked like they were renovated by a two year old and still had construction dust and paint on the floors. The front desk lady was nice, and offered to refund, but by then all other hotels in the area had no vacancies. Why continue to sell rooms if it’s in this condition

Not worth $300 for 3 nights. The hotel was under construction, so there was no buffet despite what their website said, and that was a reason I stayed there. We had to slam the door with our bodies to close or open it. They had a room with muffins, plain bagels, cold coffee, no cream, no cream cheese, plain cheerios, plain corn flakes, but no milk. It was very frustrating. The hallways smelled like weed, the carpet was ripped up, and we tripped on it. The toilet didn't really flush. Honestly, the only good things were the comfy bed, the lit parking lot, it was quiet at night until around 5 am, and the shower worked.

We decided to stay here on a work trip. We did not want to stay in the city due to the congestion. Check in was not an issue. Our room was okay minus having to break into the door each time we would step out. There were signs that they were attempting to repair the room.

I let them know that two adults were staying there. They gave us enough linen for one person.

Our second day we figured that we would get linen once they came to clean the room . When we returned, our room was not cleaned and there was still no linen. We let the gentlemen know at the front desk about the issue. He informed us that the hotel was OUT of Towels.

When we woke up in the morning, We went down to the front desk and asked for towels. We were given one set of what I would believe to be the towels that you place on the floor to not let the floor get wet exiting the shower. I returned the towels and we were going to buy towels from a nearby store.

After not having something as basic as towels, we decided to relocate to another hotel. We were willing to pay for the nights we stayed and we requested to not be charged for the final night.

So we never had towels to bathe and ended up having to pay for the night we did not use. Due to the location not having towels and the fact we had to break into our room everytime we left is what I based my rating off of.

The staff was kind to us, but I would not recommend staying here.

This hotel was okay. The downfalls was the fitness centre did not exist and the hot tub was not in use which is why we had booked this hotel. The breakfast was okay but pretty basic with cereal or bread options. The room smelt of cigarette smoke which was strong smelling but otherwise room was clean. The laundry facilties were easy to use and staff were very friendly. The late check out of 12pm was also a luxury to have a lazy morning

Heed the warnings… The first room we were given smelled strongly of smoke, went to see the front desk for a different room and second room was not much better. Stains in the bed, pillows. Cleanliness in general was highly suspect. Our across the hall neighbors were smoking in their rooms until late in the evening the smell coming into our room. The walls appeared to have mold on them at one point that was painted over as a resolution.

Overall this place was a low vibe, next time we’ll try the Holiday Inn located in the same lot…

I forgot to take pics. The bed was comfortable, and it looked clean. The closet door, which was painted white, had been touched up, and I made it spotchy looking. The counter in the bathroom was coming apart. The decor was tasteful. But the room definitely needs a bit more fixing up. Only one staff member is doing everything. So be patient.

Great hotel for the price and being close by the highway, it was very nice. Customer service throughout from all the staff amazing. The vending machines were well stocked with everything we needed. The breakfast was free. Can’t beat it for the price

The pool is out of service!!!!!!! This is why we choose this hotel. We needed a pool. The jacuzzi room is a small jetted tub. (My home tub is bigger.) The walls were dirty with handprints. 😉 The room doesn’t even have a coffee maker in the room. The continental breakfast was a poor plain spread. Spent extra money for nothing.
I will say all employees were as helpful within their power of service. Holiday inn is being built next door, so they are penny pinching every penny!!
