I hate to even write this review, but this place has changed drastically since our last visit in 2022. We stayed in a villa for Valentines Day weekend. The villa was wonderful, dinner/winery not so much. I should have known when we walked in at 7 and the restaurant was nowhere near full. The old menu was always changing, wonderful entrees and seasonal items, and now it's like every other restaurant. The table cloths were filthy and full of stains. The hostess was dressed less than appropriate, to say the least, and I had to refill my own drink as the server had too much going on. They sell mediocre wine found at any grocery store with a massive markup. Once a place my husband and I would make the drive for is no longer. I hope someone will come in and bring it back to the standard it should be.

We stayed here for an anniversary weekend and had a wonderful time. The villa we stayed at was great and came equipped with everything we needed for the weekend (and was very clean). All the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was perfect for a hot summer day. Would recommend everyone come here for a weekend getaway.

My husband and I just spent the weekend at Chaumette in one of their villas. Everything was absolutely great! The villa was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need and the scenery is beautiful. We had dinner at The Grapevine Grill last night which was fantastic. If you need a place to stay in the Ste. Genevieve winery area, you definitely want to check out Chaumette. We will be back again!

What a wonderful experience. It was our first family vacation in years as we're all adults now ages 33-69. We stayed in villa #33 and it was perfect. Roomy, clean, well stocked, and wonderful views. Had some potentially dangerous storms coming in and was visited late Sunday by a staff member to give pertinent advice, thank you.

Had dinner one evening at the Grill, wow everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the pork chop which can be a challenge to serve, but it was moist and flavorful.

I am recommending this place for anyone looking for a peaceful weekend with quality accommodations.

Very lovely winery. The grounds around the winery are beautiful. I ate dinner and went on a hike. The food was okay but I was hoping it would of been a little more upscale. The salmon was slightly over seasoned. The hiking is very cool. I added a picture of the hiking map. We went to the other winery and they were closed. You can tell from the pictures that it's worth the drive.

This was our favorite place to eat when we wanted something nice. They have changed Chefs recently and I really hate to say but the new Chef isn’t worth the money you have to pay. They went from having creative and very flavorful dishes with the past chef to burgers & pasta like every other restaurant with the new one.
The wines and everything else is worth a visit but we won’t be going back to eat.

We arrived on a Saturday early evening in August and were surprised to be seated on the patio deck right away. I ordered the Sea Bass and my wife ordered a salad. The salad was ok, but it would have been nice if they had asked if the dressing should be on the side as it was a bit drenched. The Sea Bass was very good if not a little lacking in seasoning. However, the corn risotto was a wonderful pairing with the fish and really made it stand out.
The deck had a great view, but it was a bit crammed with people and they several were getting up and walking to other tables to talk so servers had a hard time getting by. The staff needs more training as 3x a bus girl / server abruptly interrupted our dinner by taking plates away without asking. It was jarring having an arm thrust in your face without warning as you are talking. The servers also wear short shorts and mini skirts. The whole feeling out on the deck was more of a sports bar than a fine dining establishment.
