Hard pass on this one.This place is filthy. The wifi is spotty at best, the air condition is at least 30 yrs old and has never been cleaned. This was once a nice place to visit but It's no longer cute, cozy, or woodsy. It is now old and broken down and disgusting.

If you need WiFi and a good internet connection be sure to have a phone with its own hotspot and plenty of data. The location of the router(s) is such that only the rooms near the office will have any service. Even if you are able to connect, the service is barely on a par with dial up of the early 1990's. My MacBook complained about the router(s) configuration and rated the security as "weak." |The rooms themselves are as pictured and OK for one night. I wouldn't recommend it at all for a several night stay.

This was such a cozy little place! I'm not a fan of big- brand name hotels. We loved this place. The room was decorated in a farm motif and looked a little bit like we'd just stepped out of a time machine. But that only adds to the charm. Room was super clean. Check in/out was easy and they were good at communicating with me.
One honest note: the mattresses are really firm which made it a challenge for me to get to sleep.
Nice location, near the river and all the beautiful fall colors. If we need to travel to the area again, we'll be back.

Clean room. Nice owners. Went to the hometown to party and short drive for sleep.
At around ten p.m. someone took to preparing food that kind of ruined perfect stay. No noise. Good sound proofing

Upon pulling into the parking lot my kids saw the “MOTEL” written on the front and groaned. However, this not like one of the classic motels of the past. It is a cozy, well maintained establishment. The family who owns the place are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and smelled nice. The themed rooms had their charm. The kids wanted to take a tour the rest of them. The owner has a pair of birds that hang around his office with him. When the hipsters start making motels cool again, this place is a good candidate.

I stayed in room #5 for 1 night with one other guest - 2 dbl bed room with an Americana theme. I thought the decor was kitschy but cute - reminded me of my family road trips in the 70s & 80s. No carpet in the room - instead, laminated floors - which I like because of cleanliness, in pet-friendly hotels. We didn’t hear movement from any other guests (due to painted cement block walls?) and although the motel is not far from the road, you don’t hear the cars much. The room is clean and there’s a small flat screen t.v. The gent who checked my friend in was very pleasant and gave us treats and a water bowl for his dog which was a nice touch. Mini fridge is loud. There’s a small coffee maker in the room which I always use if available. My only complaint is the beds - they are lacking all cushion - could feel hard wire on our backs - got little sleep - need to replace stat! Bring a foam memory pad if you want to sleep.

This place is about a mile out of town and it's quiet. We had the western theme took towards the back...much more unique than the typical cookie cutter place. The room was very clean and beds were moderately firm....all in all....a good choice.
