Here’s another one where I have mixed feelings about reviewing because I want to keep Charmers to myself.

Charmers is a lovely cafe with eclectic offerings and a friendly staff. A cozy cafe with ample patio seating in the summer months.

Do you like to shop with your coffee? They have frequent plant sales, Javrvis Square craft fairs, and Horseplay next door. Charmers is also dog-friendly.

I always recommend the $5 Holler on the weekends—a homemade baked item and a coffee or tea. A great deal and always delicious. Highly recommended.

cutest indoor-outdoor cafe in beautiful Rogers Park with good food, coffee and specialty drinks, ice cream, etc. the interior is stunning and would be a good place for a creative type to write or read quietly!!

I got the Chicken Tinga sandwich 🥪 and it's very good! Pulled chicken, avocado 🥑 on a ficachia type roll. It's so good. I'm definitely coming back to try the other sandwiches. It has a wonderful coffeeshop feel with plenty of plants and seating.

It’s a cool space and the coffee was fine but the service we received (more a lack thereof) was so awful I never want to come back. I don’t think a single word was spoken by the employee- they just stared at us. I really do understand that sometimes you have an off day at work and it’s hard to provide your best service, but there was no service whatsoever. They didn’t say a word when we ordered, gave us a wrong order, and then when they remade the drink and brought it to the table, again- not a word, but an eye roll. We were polite and not in a hurry so I’m not sure why we were met like this by the employee. For the amount we paid, this felt ridiculous. Altogether I’m really disappointed as it was our first time visiting and now our last.

This is a hard one to write because this cafe is a sentimental favorite but fact is, the coffee is bad. Most of the drinks are. Some of the staff is meh, but some are really friendly (there's one barista in particular who always has a friendly smile), the atmosphere is of course cozy and really comfy too. Bottom line, go here for a nice sandwich or brownie in a cozy spot. Lots of people go here for dates and studying. Avoid the coffee and keep expectations low for server friendliness.

Rogers Park best breakfast and coffee spot. Plenty of food options, indoor seating and large seating area outside in the sunshine. Dog friendly. I really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, Fancy. Made with fresh, flavorful Ingredients. Eggs, queso fresco, spinach, tomato, chives on a ciabatta bread. Great coffee and tea. Staff are knowledgeable and patient, just a little slow on service because of short staff. Love this spot!

Lovely spot with great coffee, “charming” atmosphere and good food that’s prepared to order. The lox and bagel was very good and fresh. The swing seats in the window aren’t for me, but very fun. And, weather permitting, there’s great outdoor seating.

The chimichurri sandwich was decent! I was surprised there wasn't any chimichurri flavor though. 6/10

I got an iced peeps latte and it tasted like straight milk. It was disappointing 🙁 1/10

The cubanish sandwich was just.. bad. There was SO MUCH mustard and horseradish for some reason I get it's "cuban-ish" but every bite had horseradish on it. Like they spread it on with the mustard. 0/10
