I went to visit my yearling as she is being trained to race. I've waited my whole life for a race horse and my dream has finally come true at 61. Better late than never right? The Champaign county fair grounds/horses/barns has always been some of my very best childhood memories. I encourage people to come to the races and bring your families and friends.

I went to the rodeo with my son we seen a great rodeo I laughed so hard at the clowns during their skit been a long time since I had that much fun at such a cheap price I highly recommend it All the vendors were reasonably priced. The beer was super cold. I got some freshly made saltwater taffy that was made on the spot I've never had that fresh of taffy in my life so I would highly recommend you check out the fair when it's in town. It's well worth your money and there's a lot of fun and I never seen any problems at all everybody was in a very good mood and well behaved.

There is nothing like the county fair. They take the food seriously. Beer tent live music is fun, rockin’ and rollin’ (pictured: Tom Grassman Band 2023) They take the food seriously. Good petting zoo, events.

cute summer fair with rides, food, petting zoo and shows! walk or take the bus if you can to avoid having to find parking. don't forget to bring cash!

The fair grounds are located over a swamp and its usually so hot, humid and muddy it’s Stifling just to breathe not to mention the mosquitoes.
There has been increasing gang activity over the last 20 years and it’s no place I would take my kids. If it does happen to be dry, then it’s so dusty everything is covered with dust. In my opinion, it’s just a low class fair. The only thing good may be the agriculture Exhibits IDK?
