Me and my husband stayed her for our Anniversary, we had a good time here. The service is top tier! we love the restaurant also. The only thing is the room has lots of ants which is understandable cause of the location. I spoke to the front desk lady about the issue we experienced in our room but we have not heard anything from the management. Some guy knocked our door at midnight and calling my husband's name asking if we are inside, obviously we did not open the door. Im expecting someone to call me and explain what happened that night i just wanted to make sure if something happened.

What a beautiful experience! My wife, two dogs and I stayed here for two nights and we had a wonderful time. The pool area is spectacular, the grounds are well kept and beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Since we travel with our pups, it's wonderful to find a place that is truly accommodating to our furry family (our dogs felt very welcome here)! An added bonus, The View restaurant is wonderful, we enjoyed two meals...both of them were top-notch and the service was wonderful.

Theresa in the Fitness Center is absolutely amazing!! She gave us the warmest welcome!! Theresa took the time to get to know us and recommended a weight training class for all of us to participate with Camille. |Camille gave us great pointers from our posture and resting stance while we watch, to exercises we can do at our home gym. ||The Spa was the real treat of our stay at Chaminade!! We went for treatments two days in a row! |We were greeted by Cassandra, who was so helpful and accommodating! I showed up with lower back pain. I cannot recommend Melody enough!! The first day I had the Signature Massage with hot shells, wonderful! The second, CBD massage… Wow!! Melody is fully invested in the care and treatment of her clients. She worked magic! I slept amazing that night and my back pain is nearly gone! Whoohooo!! ||I can’t wait to book another stay just to experience another massage with Melody!!

We LOVE this resort for a couple getaway but even more so as a family getaway. It’s secluded, serene, and beautiful. We love the pool with poolside drinks and even family movie nights. The bunk room fits our family of five comfortably which is hard to find. Amazing gym with tons of equipment. And dog friendly!

We discovered this place while already on vacation on Santa Cruz and we decided to stay. It offers a lot of entertainment for kids and adults as advertised. The trails are an amazing part of feeling in nature while having ok accommodations. The forest room was pretty, but the bathroom was a not very luxurious because there was paint patches all over, and the beds and pillows were not the most comfortable. The staff at the front desk and the View (the restaurant) were amazing - they offered a wonderful atmosphere and were very attentive. The restaurant had some cool live music at night.

We felt very welcomed and we enjoyed our short stay and we might go back just because the place has a lot to offer for families and there are not that many choices like this in the area. The pools and hot tubs were great! I am pretty sure renovations will be done and I will be ready to provide that five star review.

My husband and I stayed at Chaminade in October to celebrate my birthday and the exciting news of baby #3, and it was truly an unforgettable experience!

From the moment we arrived, the serene setting took our breath away. The sweeping views of the Santa Cruz mountains paired with the tranquil vibe made it the perfect escape. The View Restaurant was a highlight of our trip—delicious food, impeccable service, and, of course, those incredible panoramic vistas. Dining there felt like a celebration in itself!

The spa was another standout. It was exactly what I needed to unwind and recharge. The treatments were luxurious, the ambiance peaceful, and the staff warm and welcoming.

Chaminade truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a serene retreat, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Overall I'd say it was an average night stay here, but unfortunately there were multiple frustrating events that occured. The first thing was, I had booked 2 massages for 50 minutes at the spa for the day after Valentine's with my boyfriend and both unfortunately had to be cancelled due to an issue with their booking system even though it clearly stated on my end what services I was getting. Second, the hot water took an extremely long time to heat up as well as it didn't reach a very comfortable temperature. Lastly, I was woken up before 9am by housekeeping 2 times in a row less than 5 minutes apart from the first housekeeper. I found it extremely frustrating to be woken up multiple times before it was even time to check out. It was an okay experience, but I'm not sure if I would stay here again or recommend it.

The room wasn't great but not bad either. Service and location are really good. So convenient to have a restaurant at the hotel, specially when traveling with a baby. There is plenty of trees around the area, a short hike and activities available for an extra charge.
