We had a wonderful stay at Century Elms. Rich and Chris are the consummate hosts. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We stayed in the Payne-Craig room which is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was huge and was supplied with everything you could ever need. An added bonus is a private entrance to the gorgeous wraparound porch!
Chris is an excellent chef and the breakfasts were so yummy! We never left the table hungry.
We cannot recommend this beautiful inn more. If we could give it 10 stars - we would give it 12!
*This B&B is also fully ADA compliant. There is a wheelchair entry ramp to the front door. The Payne-Craig room is on the first floor and is specifically designed to accommodate wheelchairs. The shower has an extended seat with many rails for stability. The sink and toilet are also built for wheelchair access.

The inn appears stately, at the top of a hill, when you arrive. The host is helpful and friendly, and quite knowledgeable about the history of the inn. Inside, the rooms are individually decorated with their own unique feel. The breakfast is delicious. The overall experience is relaxing and transports you to a time when charm and elegance were the norm.

What a delightful Bed and Breakfast! I stayed here with my husband and two adult sons for three nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and especially getting to know Rich and Chris and their story of renovating this beautiful historic home. The rooms were very comfortable with their own bathrooms. And so nicely decorated. There is a very large wraparound porch where we all enjoyed sitting. Chris made the most delicious breakfasts and even accommodated some dietary restrictions. Rich gave us a tour of the place including the cupola and sharing its historic past. I would highly recommend staying here. We even saw a fawn in the yard!

We had a great time at Century Elms. It's a very clean, comfortable, and cute B&B. Rich and Chriss are very passionate about this place and super friendly and accommodating. The food is home made, creative, and very tasty. Close to downtown but not exactly walkable, though there are some very mice trails nearby.

Recently stayed for 1 night and look forward to when we have another chance to stay there again. The hosts, Rich and Chris, are very kind and hospitable. We got a great tour and this historic house is amazing! Kudos to the owners for continuing the legacy of this place. The homemade breakfast was tasty! The (Saxer) room we were in was very nice and fit our needs for 2 people. We recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable bed with updated bathroom in a quiet area.

Historic and cozy place to stay. Chris and Rich gave a delightful tour and really know the history of the place. Guest rooms beautiful and bathrooms are brand new! Breakfast excellent. Highly recommend!

Century Elms has been a joy to us every time we have visited! My husband and I love coming here. From the tasty healthy breakfasts Chris and Rich serve, to the history one can almost feel in this grand old house, there is something interesting around every corner. I love the architectural details of high ceilings, ornate old woodwork, and the grand porch. Every guest room is decorated with its own theme. I love them all. That Rich and Chris rescued this 1858 gem and turned it into a quiet, comfortable, and restful place to stay a few nights, is a blessing to the community and the weary traveler. Fair prices,
quiet comfortable accommodations, and good food- what more could one want?
