I love the free music and movies in the park that are held here. In recent years the city has expanded into more diverse music rather than the typical orchestra or municipal band. Sometime events and other concerts are held here too. Local nonprofit organizations are invited to sell pies or baked goods during music and movies in the park. This place is truly a Sterling 💎

Great memorial park for walking and exploring. They have a very nice amphitheater for listening to community music or theater. They also have the Farmer's Market from 4-7pm on Tuesday evenings.

First time here. Really liked it. Listened to the Sterling Municipal Band. May be back again next summer.

I love this beautiful area in Sterling Illinois in this Summer's the community band they play there music in the amphitheater it's always a good time the community band and their band director are top-notch they tell you about the composer of the music and a tell a backstory
