Stayed here with our family and friends. The home is exquisite with every room being sizable and having an on suite bathroom. The bar is a great spot for adults to mingle. The outside grounds have every amenity imaginable and the best part is upon request you can have a private chef, butler and really anything you desire. Our second time here and can’t recommend it enough!! Our kids had more fun here than in Hawaii! That says enough!

The property was amazing and the manager was great. Although if you care about getting your deposit back this is not the property for you. Even after we walked the property with the manager and she said the property is in perfect condition, the owner sent a 3 page letter stating a bunch of false and ridiculous accusations.. he then said he would give us 1/2 of the deposit back if we give him a 5 star review… witch is illegal and unethical. It’s a bummer because we totally would’ve rented here again, but not after how we’ve been treated. If you look at all the other reviews, they’re just five star with no comments, Clearly, this is not the first time that this owner has done this to his renters. I hope this helps..

We hosted a company retreat here and it was perfect. Beautiful home well stocked with everything you need. No need to leave the property with so many activities and the property is happy to arrange anything you might need. Highly recommend.

This place is unbeatable. The rooms all have an ensuite bathroom but what steals the show is the "backyard". There is a pool, lake for fun activities (including fishing), tennis court, bocce ball, and bikes to ride around. They even provided carrots to go feed the animals in the barn. Our party brought our own espresso machine but we all appreciated the in-house one provided in the gorgeous kitchen space. Katrine was a pleasure to work with and I hope to be able to stay there again even though we had some hiccups.

We recently hosted 15 family members at the beautiful Cavallo Ranch property for a two night, three day celebration. The property is a working ranch with nine horses, exotic chickens and four pigmy goats that are all well cared for. The property boasts an eight bedroom guest house (each with it’s own bathroom) that includes a private infinity pool and spa, a pond stocked with fish (spin and fly rods provided), a sand volleyball court and a hard surface tennis/pickleball court, a large covered veranda, a professional kitchen and a well equipped game room/bar. Our family enjoyed all of these amenities during our stay; the stand up paddleboards were a huge hit with the younger generations. Property manager Katrine was a pleasure to work with. She listened carefully to our needs and then helped us plan every detail for our party. Katrine provided introductions to local chefs (we chose Justin Jenkins of Beautiful Day in La Quinta) who prepared most of our meals. She also helped us arrange for a butler/bartender and additional “floater” help so that our stay was perfect. A special shout out to bartender/butler Darrell as well as server Marissa and floater Riley, who were always there to attend to each of our guests before any of those guests knew that they needed assistance. Finally, the views of the impressive Santa Rosa mountains that lay west/southwest of the property were incredible. We had high expectations for our celebration at the Cavallo Ranch, and those expectations were exceeded across the board. Katrine was a pleasure to work with.

The most amazing location!! Between the lake, pool, horses, tennis court, and house I was simply blown away. Juliette the concierge manager could not have been more polite and professional:)
