Another great experience at Catara!
I recently booked an appointment for a Hydra Facial for a birthday present to myself. It was absolutely lovely. Jeanne is a true experienced professional that made me feel like she is a friend as she patiently answered all of my questions about anything and everything to do with retaining and enhancing the beauty of our skin. The unique setting of the Algonquin spa truly adds to a wonderful experience. Looking forward to my next visit, what a treat!

I started going to Catara MedSpa in 2021 when they had a Gold Coast Chicago location. My laser hair removal has been so successful, I drive an hour to see them in Algonquin for touch ups. I wish they were still in Chicago, but the results speak for themselves and I’m willing to drive. So grateful to have found a med spa that’s worked for me! I have been going to see Karlene for 3 years to work on my acne and texture issues. She's extremely knowledgeable about truly anything skin related and product ingredients. I don't trust anyone else with my facials except the CaTara team! I recently moved out of state and I make sure to book an appointment anytime I'm back in IL.

There are not many places out there that are concerned about how you will sustain weight loss (in my case) after you are finished using a product. I have been here twice now for my xeomin injections and have been so, SO happy with my results. Lilly has a super light touch, and really takes her time when mapping the injection points. Catara Medical Spa is in a beautiful location in the lovely town of Algonquin. I was met by the owner at the door and from that first moment to the time I left, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. My esthetician, Jeanne, was so engaging and knowledgeable as well as thorough in her evaluation of my skin and needs. She schooled me on the service I was seeking and I quickly decided she knew best and we changed course. Her hydrofacial was relaxing and stimulating and my skin was left soft and smooth. She also performed dermaplane on me which I love and she did a great job! I highly recommend Catara and Jeanne and I will be returning soon to experience other services.
