The Capital Hotel banquet team deserves a BIG shout out! Ricky, Fernando, Xing, Olivia, Lana provided excellent service for a women’s event that we had in the ballroom! From start to finish the team went above and beyond to serve our guest and provide service excellence! Our experience would not have been the same without them and they are the reason we will book another event at The Capital! WOW! Thank you to all of them and this beautiful hotel for still providing hospitality to guests!! 10/10 Review!!

They place is stunning and well kept. It looks absolutely amazing covered in christmas decor. We stayed in room 408 which is a corner room with lots of space. Fully stocked mini bar (well it appeared to not be restocked) and snacks, with a nespresso machine. No microwave though which is a let down for late night snacks. Turn down service is great and valet is awesome! One complaint: Beatrice is very rude and should not be at the forefront of this hotel.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel attending a conference that was also hosted at the same hotel. I have no complaints regarding my stay. The property is very nice, clean, and organized. The rooms are also nice, with very high ceilings, and are fully stocked with snacks, drinks, and toiletries. The service from every staff member I encountered was excellent and some of them even shared the history of the hotel too. There are two restaurants onsite and I ate at both of those during my visit. In addition to the restaurants onsite, it is in walking distance to multiple other restaurants in the downtown area. Staying at the hotel grants you access to a gym just across street. There is only valet parking, which is $30 per night but if you do not want to utilize it there are a few other parking lots that do not cost as much a short distance away.

Overall it was a great stay and would recommend the hotel to anybody looking to stay in the area.

Stayed two nights at this hotel for a mini vacation. Historic Hotel located downtown Little Rock and across from the River Area. All of the staff is very helpful and friendly. We had a deluxe king room which overlooked Market Street with floor to ceiling windows. Bed was very comfortable. The Capital Bar and Grill served very well prepared food and good wines and cocktails. Even with an area power outage the staff was great in the restaurant. ||Highly recommend staying here!

The Capital Hotel in Little Rock is a standout historical luxury hotel with a New Orleans-style charm. Built in the late 1800s, it sits in a prime location, directly across from the Marriott and on Main Street, making it ideal for conventions and city exploration.

Arrival & Service

Valet parking is convenient and located in a gated lot attached to the hotel. Upon entry, guests are greeted by polished bellhops and a stunning lobby with a seamless check-in process. The staff exude natural professionalism and friendliness, enhancing the overall experience. A unique feature worth noting is their massive historic elevator—one of the largest in the U.S.

Rooms

The hotel features four floors of guest rooms, each with a distinct high-end, New Orleans-inspired aesthetic. My 4th-floor mini-suite offered great views, clean hallways, and exceptional attention to detail. The furniture, artwork, and decor reflect a luxurious vintage style. The linens were pristine, and the overall cleanliness was unparalleled. If you prefer quicker access to exits, consider requesting a first-floor room when booking.

Amenities

While the hotel lacks a pool, it offers access to a gym located across the street in the Stephens Building. Passes are provided by the front desk. Dining options include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though the dinner service could use minor adjustments. The surrounding area, while home to a mix of cultures and some homeless individuals, remains safe and clean, with a rich offering of historic eateries.

Final Thoughts

The Capital Hotel is a fantastic choice for those who appreciate upscale environments with historical charm. It provides a welcoming, high-end atmosphere, making it perfect for well-to-do travelers or those seeking a refined experience in the heart of Little Rock. Would refer.

This is the most magnificent hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying at! The property itself is gorgeous, our large room was perfect, and the bed was so very comfortable with the most fluffy pillows! We ate at the Capital Grill and while the portions were rather small, it did leave room for dessert which was delicious. Breakfast in the One Eleven restaurant was superb both mornings. We were able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the porch of the hotel. A great experience! Compared to similar priced hotels, the Capital Hotel was head and shoulders above and exceeded my expectations both in comfort and value. You have to stay here if in Little Rock! I know I will again.
