We stayed for a night booked using reward points. Two beds were smaller than queen size. AC felt taking more time to cool. Utensils were not clean and missing. I stayed in 9 IHG hotels in my long holiday trip ( Avid, Holiday Inn and Candle wood). Both of my Candelwood stays (Hope,AR and this one) were not up to IHG standards. Candelwood in Florida were comparatively better when I had a trip few years ago. I hope management pays attention to the quality of rooms.

Not bad, you can tell it was updated recently but it has not been maintained well. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the rooms. The room we booked had no smoke detector, only exposed wires hanging from the ceiling. They switched us to another room no problem. That room was nice but was not cleaned well and the chairs were worn out. The dishwasher was disgusting. The side door to enter the building wasn’t operational. The tv has buttons for Netflix but you cannot access it, pretty annoying.

I am reaching out to express my concern and disappointment regarding the ongoing dryer issues at this hotel. My husband has been staying here for several months, and since his arrival, only one out of four dryers has been operational. Despite repeatedly being told that new dryers are on order, the issue remains unresolved.

It is frustrating to see such a vital amenity in disrepair for an extended period, especially when guests rely on it for their daily needs. We understand that delays can happen, but the lack of action to provide a temporary or alternative solution is disappointing. We hope this matter will be addressed with urgency, as it significantly impacts the quality of stay.

This location has some good things going for it, but it’s overshadowed by some of the negatives.

Service is a bit lacking. I can’t in and out of this hotel about 8 times during my stay, never once was there someone at the desk. Even checking in, I had to wait awhile for them to come check me in and they made it seem like an inconvenience.

While the rooms are renovated, they are not very cleanly. And worse, it’s incredibly noisy. I heard non stop hammering during my stay.

Small gripes, but the WiFi is pretty terrible. I was getting about 5-10 mbps. And the air conditioning did not work very well. So the room was still pretty warm at night.

Finally, since there is no food offered, please keep the pantry stocked. There was hardly anything in there.

It’s a good location and decent pricing. If they could make some improvements, it would be a great location.

I have been staying in IHG branded hotels for 30+ years and this location was easily the worst I have encountered. To merely say it needs updating would be an understatement. The carpets we so dirty and slimy I wore my socks. Wall sockets didn’t work. The room smelled like someone wearing way too much perfume in order to cover up nasty smells. The hotel always had nasty smells of one sort or another. One day it was burning plastic. The next day it was mildew. It was loud much of the time either with dogs barking or engines reving in the parking lot. Front deak staff were largely unavailable and maids only clean the rooms once per week. There’s more if I realy stopped to think about it. Not a good place to stay. You’ll regret it. You couldn’t pay me to go back.

Perfect! I have always enjoy this hotel. The rooms are large and the kitchen is a plus. The hotel also has free laundry service on property, which is huge plus when traveling for work for an extended period of time. I always book this hotel when i travel to O'Fallon IL.

Fine. The facility was new, nice and clean. The room was very comfortable. No breakfast was included, as is typical for an extended-stay business model. The room included a small kitchen. I'll stay there again if in the area but, for passing through, I prefer a hotel which offers breakfast.

This was a very poor hotel. Cleanliness was fair to poor throughout the hotel. The handle to our door inside the room was broken and would come off completely. My son was afraid we would get stuck inside the room. There was a musty smell throughout the hotel. The bed was awful, there was something under the fitted sheet that would move throughout the night every time we moved. There was a tiny black curly hair on our air conditioner. I will not book another Candlewood after this stay.
