This is a great place to stay for business or pleasure. I for both at this property. The front desk staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. The housekeeping great! My rooms are always clean and well stocked. They always say “hi” when you pass by and friendly. The Kitchenette is nice and comes with cookware,plates, cups, silverware and cooking utensils. It’s nice to have a place to prepare meals rather than eat out!

Staying at Candlewood Suites Fairbanks with kids was a wonderful experience. The hotel offers spacious and well-equipped suites with a kitchenette, making it easy to prepare meals for the little ones. The environment is quiet and safe, and the lobby provides a cozy seating area with complimentary coffee—perfect for parents to relax.

One of the highlights for our family was the convenient amenities. The 24-hour Candlewood Cupboard allowed us to grab snacks and drinks anytime, and the free laundry facilities were a great bonus for longer stays. The staff was incredibly friendly and even provided helpful recommendations for family-friendly activities, such as aurora viewing spots and local museums.

Overall, Candlewood Suites Fairbanks is an excellent choice for families, whether for a short stay or an extended visit. The combination of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality made our trip truly enjoyable.

I travel for work and get homesick easily. Having many of the comforts of home at my place of lodging makes it much easier for me. This especially when deployed for months at a time. It is very nice to have the common home amenities at a hotel such as a full size fridge/freezer, cookware, dishwasher, free laundry, and more. The provided soaps, their built in convenience store the candlewood cupboard and the lending locker for borrowing niche kitchen appliances is nice. The lending locker also has entertainment items such as books and puzzles. The gym was clean and smelled clean as well.

The front desk staff were very knowledgeable on local events and activities for spending my time off work. They also did not mind the occasional chitchat when I needed to step out of my room to stretch my legs.

We’ve stayed at this hotel for two years in a row, and it continues to exceed our expectations! The staff truly goes above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering warm and attentive service that makes all the difference. One of the biggest perks for us is the in-room kitchen, which allowed us to cook our meals—such a convenient feature that made our stay even more comfortable. On top of that, the free laundry service is a fantastic bonus, especially for longer stays. The location is also great, right in the heart of Fairbanks, making it easy to get around. If you're looking for a place that’s welcoming, well-equipped, and perfectly situated, this is it. We’ll definitely be back again!

We stayed at Candlewood Suites Fairbanks for one night before moving to an Airbnb, and it offered exactly what we needed. We arrived past midnight and check-in was quick and efficient—a much-appreciated start after a long day of travel.||The room was clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of in-room kitchen facilities that make it ideal for longer stays. While the decor is basic and functional, everything was well-maintained. It’s not a luxury property, but it’s dependable, quiet, and perfectly suited for travelers looking for comfort and practicality.

We stayed for 4 nights and we were pleased with the room. The beds were comfortable and there were at least 2 pillows firm enough to get a good sleep! The room was clean and well stocked. The front desk person was professional and checked us in quickly. Staff we saw in passing were all friendly and welcoming. Other than not having a proper breakfast available, it's a great place to stay. The location was convenient to all of our activity plans.

For a 2-star hotel, I give it 5 stars on value.

The complimentary shuttle serving both the Fairbanks Depot train station and the Fairbanks airport was really helpful, especially at night and in the snow.

The room was spacious and clean, the front desk staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the location was ideal. They have some free hot beverages and free laundry (just purchase or bring detergent) as well. Plenty of free parking too.

I faced no issues during my stay and would highly recommend staying here!

I planned a detailed trip to Alaska, with Fairbanks being the destination for seeing the Aurora. I specifically wanted a hotel where I could rest, regroup/do laundry, make side trips and with rooms facing north over Creamer's field. This hotel fit the bill. I was disappointed that the room I requested when I made the reservation wasn't available on check-in. The front desk was able to find another north-facing room on the 4th floor for me. The front desk staff (especially Ez) was relatable and helpful. The hotel itself was clean, had a well stocked Pantry with coffee machine, snacks and laundry supplies, an office with printer, a clean laundry with working machines and a gym with a useful scale. It is noteworthy that the room doors are solid with soft-close hardware - it makes a huge difference in muting noise.
