I had my favorite 3x pieces fish and chips plus a delicious shrimp skew on 2/10/25. FULLY SATISFIED AND RECOMMENDED LIKE ALWAYS.
I’m the customer of this spot since opening and need to say quality and service getting better and better during these few years. Fishes coming with choices of salads and sauces or limons. Parking place is free and always available. Place is clean, tidy, and in a modern vibe. %100 recommended.

This place has hands down the best fish and chips in the area. The fish is seasoned perfectly and it’s always so crispy and flakey. I only get my fish and chips from this spot and they never disappoint. Today Brandy stopped by my table to make sure that everything was to our liking and she was very pleasant and professional. Her team here is also great, they helped us bring our big order to the table and double checked to make sure things were tasting good. With a team this good it’s no surprise that I keep coming back!

This place is now one of my favorite places to go to. I used to order it through DoorDash and the food was fantastic. I just came back from the gym and wanted something light and healthy so I stopped by in person, and the food was even better. The portion sizes are Large, but they are just enough to fill you up perfectly. I’ve tried multiple things from this location and everything that I’ve tried has been amazing. I would highly recommend the food, and for the atmosphere.

California Fish Grill in North East of Sacramento. I stopped at this place. I just read some reviews because I was looking for some fish and chips, took the advice from lots of reviews so I came here. I was very impressed by the customer service. You walk in and you immediately get greeted by their employees with a smile. You don't see greeting you with a smile, that's a plus right there. I thought it was kind of weird at first, then I seen it happen with another another employee who greeted another customer the same way with a smile. That's that's customer service right there's nothing to expect back in return from the employees just a nice smile. Employee helped me place my order by using the little kiosk it's all manual using a monitor screen, you get to read what you want with good discrimination. I took my time to order since it was my first time experience eating at this place. The order was amazing and zuri I believe that was his name is so let's call him "Z" z was super nice spoke with me making sure I was happy with my food. I had the fish and chips It was the delicious. Absolutely satisfied plenty food tasted delicious great customer service super clean place can't say anything better than this place Great choice good place

I Iove this place! I live very close by so it’s convenient for me and the food is always delicious. There’s a ton of great meal options! I love the clam chowder & all of their tacos. The staff here are always so friendly & the restaurant is very tidy/clean. Wendy is one of the staff members who is always there with a smile & a really pleasant attitude. She told me about their Taco Tuesdays (which I hadn’t been aware of prior to then) so because of that I brought my mom & sister in for the taco specials and they loved it too! Thank you, Wendy!

California Fish Grill is one of my favorite restaurants. But I usually go to the one in Arden Arcade. But I come to this one at Citrus Heights when I’m in the area.

The food is excellent. It is as good as the one in Arden Arcade. However, I like the dining room and outdoor dining area better in the Arden Arcade California Fish Grill. This one in Citrus Heights is too cold or windy in the outdoor dining area and a little too crowded in the indoor dining room. The workers are very friendly at this location.

Have dined here many times and seems to be always getting better! The service is expedited with the cashiers and hosts always helping customers with the ordering on the big computers! The food quality is still very good as well. Keep on doing a great job.

In a word: tasty! I stumbled upon this restaurant after having a doctors appointment earlier and needing to return 2.5 hours later for another procedure! I wanted seafood and vegetables so I googled the best restaurants in the area. After clicking on the more button this restaurant came up featuring seafood. So I decided to give it a try. Well, after arriving, there was a young man who greeted me and he was very pleasant and friendly and he actually explained what the restaurant was all about. Then he proceeded to help me navigate through the menu and what I wanted to eat. I ended up ordering the grilled Seabass, balsamic glazed brussel sprouts and the vegan coleslaw. All was cooked very well and I ended eating the entire meal! I was a very happy diner and will recommend this out of the way restaurant any time. It may be a little hidden, but is well worth trying. Especially if you are looking for reasonable prices and decent food.
