I stopped in for lunch before I had to leave for work. It wasn't too crowded. They greeted me immediately. I was offered water or something else to drink. The restaurant was clean, bright and cosy. The staff was friendly and professional. I had split pea soup, mashed potatoes with gravy, a cheeseburger and a coke. It hit the spot! The food was served with minimal waiting and hot. My server checked on me frequently, but not in a bothersome way. I wish they were open all week, but I believe they are only open Thursday to Sunday. I made it to work on time, satisfied and content. I will definitely return to try their breakfast. Highly recommended.

Applied here to serve. The manager called me the next day & left a message. I called him back the following day that they are open as they are closed 1 day a week & he seemed upset while saying "I've been calling you and trying to get a hold of you"....ummmm 1 phone call & 1 message isn't "calling me/trying to get ahold of me"! I thought maybe he had a bad day, so showed up for the interview…I felt sized up & down & the 1st thing that was asked when I came in is if I have kids! Then was asked how old they were and if it would impede me from showing up to WORK!! I've eaten here before, the food was good and the service was good, but that really turned me off to this place! I WILL NEVER GO BACK! Needless to say I found a different job that I'm very happy with. Shame on you! Its a wonder they seem to always be hiring servers. If you're treating somebody that doesn't even work for you like that. I could only imagine how they treat their staff!

Me and my son came in town for a basketball tournament and this morning we were looking for some good breakfast to get , This place was right down the street from the sports facility we were playing at .The food was really good , Especially the Cinnamon French toast , Our waitress was very tentative. If your in town try this place .

Hate to hate, but the food just wasn’t good. Came with 5 other people and nobody enjoyed the food; everything from French toast to chicken tenders were messed up. Staff heard our distaste for the food and kept serving bad looks, still really nice to us though. Waste of $17 overall.

We were seated quite quickly, which was nice. Let's talk through the experience step by step:

The Server: he seemed to know how to do his job, just not well or quick. We waited for 10 mins after asking for water and coffee to finally get them. Then it took him another 15 mins to come take our order. We never got refills on our coffee, because once he dropped off our meal, he never came back except to drop the bill. I tried to get his attention multiple times for coffee, and he either didn't see me or ignored me.

The Food: the food was great, but there were a few problems. Not only did the breakfast meals not come with hashbrowns, when we ordered a side of the hashbrowns, it seemed to be cooked on one side (to the level of being slightly burnt) and almost raw on the other side. The meat tasted a bit off, as if it was from a freezer bag/box and was going to expire soon.

The Cost: it was acceptable. The coffee was a bit expensive, especially when the waiter never brought over a refill. The food was solid enough, though for the price, hash browns should be included in the meals.

Overall, it was ok. Not great, but not bad either.
